Mouth sore...

your opinion of yourself is way, way overinflatedWhen have I EVER said I was perfect?? I'm just as human as the next person. But I'll be damned if I am going to judge someone on their opinion no matter what. Nor will I bash someone for giving their opinion on a topic (unless they are telling someone to commit suicide etc etc). Simply state what you feel is true and leave it at that.. you don't always have to call people out on things. Use PM's for that.Again I'm done wasting my time arguing with you because it's pointless.

You would benefit greatly from a course in logic. They are offered by the philosphy department at most universities. That's where I learned about reasoning, formal and informal fallacies, etc. Higly recommended. Note the "argumentum ad..." ("appeal to...) fallacies. I know what an ad hominem argument is, and I'm not trying to prove anything about skin lesions through it. I'm saying that if you post bad information and don't care, and then defend it, you're demonstrating a character flaw. And your character flaw does not benefit anyone.I don't know what part of, "OK, then show me I'm wrong; your opinion alone is insuficient" you don't understand, but there it is.If you continue to post bad stuff, what's the point of IMing? People need all the information they can get in order to judge the quality information they receive. And I'd go up against you in Trivial Pursuit any day, closed book / no PC.

I didn't give bad or false information. Oral ulcers can be both herpe based or non-herpe based.. sorry not bad or wrong information. Here's a site I found quick that gives information about oral Ulcers:
Truely I am bored with you. All you live to do is get under peoples skin and try to make them look less educated than you. You talk about people hijacking threads, but how many have you done with you endless babble of "i'm right your wrong"? I can admit when I am wrong, but I am certainly not going to give in and say I'm wrong on a topic when I am not.
End of topic. Simply put, you think your right and I think I'm right. Nothing more needs to be said. Let it die already.

For God's sake, I asked you:SteveA>So do we agree that a canker sore is not caused by a virus, while a cold sore (i.e., fever blister) is?And you replied:NtroducingMyself> No..Now you say:NtroducingMyself> Oral ulcers can be both herpe based or non-herpe basedWell no kidding. You're saying, I hope, that mouth sores can be herpes (fever blisters / cold sores) or canker sores, and they're not the same thing.Your reference is a good one. It goes into detail about the types of aphthous ulcers. Read what it says about the etiology of canker sores. It doesn't say anything about canker sores' being caused by a virus, although a type of streptococcus bacteria might sometimes play a part.

Never said anything about fever blisters. That was another posters. My artical if you read again does state there is a percentage that represents herpe based ulcers.Done.

You understand that fever blisters (a.k.a. cold sores) are caused by the herpes virus, right? Do you not understand that, or do you think I misquoted you?
> My artical if you read again does state there is a percentage that represents herpe based ulcers.
Where does it say that about canker sores? Are you getting confused over herpetiform aphthous ulcers? You want me to read the article again? How about if you cite the passage?
