I am turning 17 in less then 2 months. I've know this guy for about a month. Well I did the stupidest thing yesterday. I had him over while my parents were gone. We didn't do anything, he was tired and I was tired ..so we just fell asleep in each others arms. Well, the really stupid thing was my six year old sister was home. She ended up seeing us and she told. My dad went off. I tried to explain, but he doesn't care. He keeps giving me the nice guy talk and how if he was a nice guy he wouldn't have agreed to come over. I think that is BS. I am the one that asked him over. Now my dad is trying not to let me see him again. Just because of that. He keeps telling me what I did was very dangerous. Well, I'm afraid if he really does keep us apart, things will get dangerous.I know this is silly, but I really don't know what to do. I really like the guy. I don't won’t to have to lie and sneak to see him, but if that’s what it takes...I might. I am going to keep talking to my dad and try and get him to change his mind. As for the guy, he doesn't know my dad knows yet and I am kind of afraid to tell him. If anyone can give me any advice, I would be very grateful. Thanx!

I'd have a heart to heart talk with your father. Tell him nothing happened, and that you're not ready for that (sex) yet. Admit you made a mistake in inviting him over when he was away and you'll never do it again. Just show how truely sorry you are for what happened and also express to him how much you like his guy as well. You might have to follow some pretty stricked rules for awhile, but you'll atleast be able to see this guy. Just remember show true compassion. don't let things get heated. The more mature you act the best response you're going to get. Parents aren't mean to be malicious they do it to protect their children, just remember that.

what do you mean by things will get dangerous? and you say you dont want to have to lie and sneak to see him. You gotta ask yourself this....is this boy really worth all this trouble? after this whole ordeal is over do you see him as the kind of person that will stay with you for a long time? (a few years or more) I've known many girls who've gone behind their parents and got themselves into so much trouble just to be with some boy but none of the boys ever stayed. In the end all the girls had left were just a bunch of bad memories a broken relationship with their parents. Think over your decision before you do something you will regret. In the end your parents will be the ones supporting you not some boy.
