Well I'm 16, last year I was 5'6" and 150lbs. This year I'm 5'6" (didnt grow at all), and 131.5lbs with no muscles/abs showing (i dont lift weights or anything)I've got a few questions.1. Is the 20lbs that I lost safe? I cut out all the junk food (pizza, mcdonalds, ice cream, deep fried chicken wings etc.) and increased exercise a little bit. Just afraid that I might be missing out on some nutrition (assuming junk food actually has any nutrition)2. Well considering I haven't grown an inch since last year, am I at/close to getting to my maximum height??3. Should I continue to try and lose more weight or should I start to build some muscles or do both? (I know really nothing about muscle/bodybuilding) I just wanna get a little bit of muscle and abs wouldnt be bad seeing how my sis shows me pics of 13 year olds with abs and I just go O_O

Few questions about weight and muscles

I did the same thing as you. I lost about 20 pounds when I was 15. I lost about 5 pounds a little later, and now I've gained about 5-10 pounds in muscle. Went from about 175 to 155, stayed there for awhile, went down to approx. 150, and now I'm about 155-160. I haven't weighed myself in the past few months. I only grew from about 5'10" to 6'00" since I was 15.As far as your abs showing, that's because you probably had less body fat. I'm sure that if you keep up the exercise that your doing, or increase it a little more, and you keep eating healthy, you will begin to feel like you're in better shape and may see your abs better. If you want more muscle, then the best thing you can do is weight train. Swimming is also very good for muscle development, especially since it trains otherwise inactive muscles in many cases.
