I've never ever had sex with anyone else other than my girlfriend she has been checked twice in the last year and came up negative for all STD's. We've been only with each other for the past 10 months and she got checked during that time and was still negative. Like I said I've never had sex with anyone else. Well I just recently discovered about 6-7 white bumps around my pelvis area kind of close to the penis and one very small one on the penis. I don't know what it could be since both of us are clean. She doesn't appear to have anything and I don't understand how either of us could've contracted anything it's weird. Please Please Respond!!!

HELP!!! White bumps but no reason!!!
-
Could they be sebaceous glands? (These are perfectly normal.)
-
Thanks for the reply but no they are noticeable kind of look like whitehead pimples. In fact I thought they were when i first saw them and tried to pop one.
-
Sebaceous glands can look like that - they can be whiter and smaller than in the picture.
-
Thanks again for the reply they are whiter but they are actually bigger than those in the picture. I'm just really confused cause it doesn't make sense for me.
-
Perhaps they are simple whiteheads (which are a form of clogged sebaceous gland).
-
Those sebecaeous glands are not normal. They are infected. The picture posted above was a picture of infected sebaceous glands with a strain of Human Papillomavirus.
If you are experiencing a numbness in your penis along with lack of sexual gratification when orgasming you probably have this. I was told by a doctor that not alot of doctors know about this or either they don't treat for it. Its highly contagious and is considered a pandemic (worldwide infection). The best treatment for it is sulfur8 an over the counter ointment you can apply externally. It is indicated for the treatment of dandruff. I have been applying it twice a day to the affected areas and it is almost completely gone. It may take a few days for you to notice the difference. I have also been told that neosporin will work, but it did not work for me. -
Neosporin is an antibacterial antibiotic (actually, several), and will have no affect on a viral infection.
-
Sebaceous glands infected with HPV?? That is complete nonsense.

Doctors often prescribe antibiotics for the flu (a virus) because it will supress the normal opportunistic bacteria always present throughout your body. This will help boost your immune system, since it is always in a state of constant battle. Your body produces a natural antiviral called alpha interferon, which you can also receive injections of. But the Neosporin, did not work for me, or maybe I did not use it long enough. The active ingredient in Sulfur8, which is sulfur seems to be working. And I do know Neosporin is an antibiotic ointment or cream.(Neomycin, Polymixin B and Bacitracin). Sebeaceous glands infected with HPV. I'm only telling you what the doctor told me, and treated me for. I may be mistaken in exactly what he said, but HPV was definiteley mentioned. If you look closeley you will probably see little hairs growing from them. This disease will also infect the hair follicles/sebaceous glands. Warts with hair growing from them are not uncommon, just go to the drug store and look on the back of a bottle of Coumpound W.But, who am I to argue. My("Normal Sebaceous glands") are just about gone. So there's no point in convincing me.I've read and researched alot trying to get rid of them. So anyone wanting to get rid of these, Use the Sulfur8, it worked for me.The numbness of my penis is also gone, too. I think I see a connection here.Anyone looking at that picture and thinking they are normal are welcome to keep them. And anyone wanting to know, I was told the organism causing this can stay alive outside of the body for approximateley 2 weeks. I am in the medical field so I have a little insight on this subject. In case you didn't know there are dozens of strains of HPV. Not just the caulifower grotesque looking warts you often see in the medical books.

Doctors often prescribe antibiotics for the flu because it will supress the normal opportunistic bacteria always present throughout your body. It's true that the immune system is a finite resource, but what you day contradicts what I know about treating viral diseases, unless there is known to be a concurrent bacterial infection. You don't hand out antibiotics because there might be a secondary bacterial infection, unless you want to contribute to the increasing incidence of infection with antibiotic-resistant strains. Was a test done to show that you actually had an HPV infection?> The best treatment for it is sulfur8 an over the counter ointment you can apply externally. How was this discovered? I thought it was just a dandruff treatment. Can you cite info on this? It's possible that your malady would have progressed on it's course with or without Sulfur8, or anything else. Or it's possible that Sulfur8 cured the problem. It's hard to say from a sample size of one.

So I suppose all these young boys in the midst of puberty who have these enlarged sebaceous glands and enlarged hair follicles on the shafts of their penis and scrotum AND have never had any sexual contact are all infected with HPV. Give me a break. You and your doctor can take your theories elsewhere.
-
You're being very close minded. There are alot of people who think these are not normal and are trying to find a cure, and are trying various treatments. There is a difference between an infeciton and prominence.I've read plenty of posts, where people have been prescribed various things for sebaceous or hair follicle infections. .As far as theories go, it's no theory friend. There is a difference betweeen thoerys and physical evidence.I think perhaps you should re-read my post and keep you and your close-mindedness to yourself.Veteran, you need to read my post. Have you ever been prescribed Amoxicillin or Azithromycin for having a cold. Did you know that the common cold is caused by a virus and so is the flu. These are both broad spectrum antibiotics used to suppress the opportunistic bacteria in you lungs, so you body can fight off the virus. Did you know you have pneumonia living in your lungs all the time waiting for a chance to overcome your immune system, hence opportunistic. By the way most respiratory infections are viral. If you have never heard of this, welcome to the world of modern day medicine.

Give me a break, you have no idea what your talking about. That or your doctor sure as hell didnt.

And perhaps you didn't read what I wrote. I know that the cold and flu are caused by a virus. I have never been prescribed antibiotics for a cold or flu. I have been prescribed antibiotics for bacterial infections. At the clinic in college, the practioners dispensed erythromycin for sore throats because they weren't very skilled at diagnosing bacterial versus viral infections, and they didn't want to risk having a strep infection progress while waiting for the result of the culture. If the throat culture turned out to be negative for strep, they'd tell you to stop taking the anitbiotics.
If you're not immunocompromised, you shouln't be worrying about prophylactic antibiotics when you get the flu or a cold. But sometimes clueless patients insist on them, and doctors find it less time consuming to write a prescription than to argue.
There are pathogenic bacteria living on and around you. If you overuse antibiotics, you will make them all antibiotic-resistant. Then, if there's an opportunity for them to mulitiply and make you sick, you will be screwed, because modern antibiotics will be ineffective. As one infectious diseases specialist (at a top hospital) explained it to me, if the newer antibiotics lose their efficacy, they'll have to go back to older, more toxic agents.

I'm not closed-minded.. you're just feeding me hear-say. Your claim of HPV infected hair follicles and glands is quite questionable. Until you can give me some evidence of this HPV theory, I'll be "closed-minded" TY
-
I'm having trouble believing this too. Sulfur works against dandruff because it has antifungal activity, and dandruff is caused by a fungus. I've never heard of its having any antiviral activity.

I think I know what you're talking about. Sometimes, usually after long, rough sex, I'll get the occaisional 2 or 3 whitehead pimples near base of my penis and pelvic area. They are just zits...and I'm 32 years old. Not sure how much of an "outbreak" you are dealing with or how often this occurs for you but could be the same thing. Not sure why they appear.
