When pushing myself hard and im using a lot of energy in one go such as during sport, squash in this case where your using your entire body and using speed and strength at the same time i find my teeth/gums can start to hurt. I just find this strange. Does anyone else get that / why is that? Also i feel like i've just tried to eat glue my spit is soo guey!

best thing I can tell you is to get a bite guard while working out. Sounds like you are clenching your teeth when you are working out.

yeah you should relax your mouth more...b/c that is the only reason i can think of and agree with.

Try going to the doctor and check it out. Better yet, go easier on yourself. It's normal for some to clench their teeth while working out, especially for boxers. Strangely, clenching your teeth has some type of effects that may make you think you are stronger. Like weightlifters that hold their breath while trying to lift weights, but still you aren't gonna lift many weights if you pass out cuz of oxygen shortage, right?-Taison! out
