Ok so me and this girl have been "friends" for a year now and I realized that I'm in love with her about a month or so ago. now I don't think she really knows that I love her but she does know that I care for her and she says that she cares for me too, but doesnt want a boyfriend over the summer or something like that. I'm also good friends with her best friend and she tells me that the girl I'm in love with talks about me all the time and that she definantly has feelings for me, then I asked so why doesn't she want a boyfriend over the summer, and she said it wasn't just that she doesn't want a boyfriend over the summer it's that she's just figuring stuff out right now or something like that. so anyways enough with the backstory last night the girl I love was at a party with her friend and sister I couldn't go cause my mom wouldn't let me so I told her to try and stay out of trouble. Then it ends up that she go really really drunk with her friend and when they got back to her house her friend passed out and so she got in trouble. so shes grounded her phone is taken away she cant go online and when I call her house asking for her, her parents say she can't talk right now. So I was wondering if anyone has any ideas how I could somehow suprise her by doing something to make her really happy cause shes really depressed as her mom says. O and going to her house is out of the question because its about a 15 minute drive from mine and my mom can't take me cause she's never home.

Ever learn to ride a bike? You don't have to be Lance Armstrong to ride the distance a car can cover in 15 minutes, and the weather is usually pretty nice in San Diego.

Being a somewhat avid biker and a driver too I can say that it only takes me like 3 hours to bike some 20 miles. If you really want to do this for her, the ride won't be that bad. (And don't give me the flat lands thing, because I lived in WV for 11 years, and that's where I picked up mountain biking) Oh, and also, you may want to check if it's ok with her parents first. Score some points that way with the fam.

I don't think there are a lot of big mountains in San Diego. Plus it'd be good exercise, even if the relationship doesn't work out.

Always a positive and that's my exact point, no mountain = faster biking. I think he should go for it, throw caution to the wind and go with the flow. Relationship works, hip hip hurray! If it faulters...well find another one. The only way to know is to try. And no one can blame you for that.
