Hey guys. I haven't posted anything in a while, and most of you probably don't remember me all that well. I still read on this site all the time, just with a lot less posting, mainly due to a lack of time. I've been out and about all summer (Europe, and with friends for the last 3 weeks since I got back), and I'm going on another 'trip' I guess, and I'm getting a little bit nervous. I leave tonight to move across the country with my girlfriend. She's going to school there and I'm going to work as I plan on going to school there next year (I didn't know what I wanted to do until it was too late to apply for university, so I'm taking the year off). It's a little nerve racking. I've found us the proper place to stay for the year so that she can focus on her studies and I'm going to try to find a job once we're settled. I just feel like I'm forgetting something. I guess this is just to really get my feelings out right now, as my girlfriend is doing last minute packing and I've just finished (minus my laptop). If anyone has any reassuring words that would be wonderful. Or any stories of experiences with your first move out. Any tips?

Ok, to get bigger, it's not just about working out, you're going to need to be watching what you eat. For that, I'd suggest going to a specialist in that area and seeing what works best for you, and so on and so forth. As for the working out, start light. Maybe just an upper/lower body split. One day, work your upper body, one day your lower. After maybe a few months of this, begin to do splits targeting specific muscles (biceps/triceps, quads, back and shoulders, etc). Just remember, you're just starting out, it takes a lot of time, but if you're dedicated, you'll see the results. Don't get discouraged, and do a lot of research to make sure everything you're doing is safe and won't be causing you any harm.

I guess I didn't explain the easter thing well. I'm around her place a decent amount, I talk to her parents a bit, and her brother and I have kind of become friends even. It wasn't about anything awkward with the family, she was just in a bad mood that day. When she is, she can be very stubborn (just like me), and she just didn't want to talk to me at all it seemed, then once she did, she broke down. She said she didn't talk to me basically because she knew that when she did, she was going to just break down and have her cry to let everything out.

So, to start off, I've been with my current girlfriend for 5 months, maybe a little bit more. For the last week or 2, things just haven't felt the same, we haven't had as much to talk about and sometimes it's just a bit awkward. Things started out great. We were really good friends before we started dating, and it carried on when we began seeing each other. We could talk about anything, whether or not it was important, I'm a fairly random person, and I enjoyed that I could be myself in front of her, I didn't have to really control what I say. Things started to get weird at around Easter. She was really upset, and had invited me over for dinner with her family. I got there an hour early, and she ended up basically not talking to me for 4 hours, and then crying on my shoulder for the last half hour I was there. She's really stressed with school, she has some major exams for her more advanced program for the next 3 weeks and she's really stressing out, and sometimes it gets her angry, and talking just isn't really possible at that point because she becomes confrontational. We spent a few hours discussing this after she blew up at me one day, and I thought we had worked things out regarding her taking things out on me. The past week since then has been pretty awkward. When we talk, there are long silences, where neither of us talk. I picked her up from school today and we didn't really talk for the half hour that we were together. I know she is stressed and all, I just didn't think it would be this awkward at times. Could we just be in a rough spot because of exams?

I just saw this today, but I knew what to expect because I had read the graphic novel before hand. There's a fair amount of brutal violence, with blood and gore, and there is a lengthy sex scene. There's a fair bit of nudity for the sex scene, and you see a lot of Dr. Manhattan's penis (the blue man from the previews). I'd say it's rated R for a reason, and if you can't really handle such things you should stay away from it. However, it was a very good adaptation of the novel, the only significant change was the entire ending. There was a lot to cover from the novel, and it really only touched the surface of everything, for anyone who enjoyed the movie, I recommend you pick up the book and give it a read.

It was enjoyable. Still not even near my favorite movie from last year, but it was still well done. My friends and I saw it because we always see everything that's nominated for best picture, and it was probably my 2nd favorite out of what was nominated. Danny Boyle's a great director, and the performances all just felt real and genuine.

Ugh, I hated this movie. For a popcorn flick, meh, it was alright. As a movie with substance? There was none. The plot was weak, the acting was weak, just everything about it.

    Spoilers below:

Ugh, the ending was so hollywood. I just wanted Shia to die so that I could be satisfied, but I couldn't even get that out of the ending. The only reason I saw this was because my girlfriends mom wanted to see it, so we rented it, and watched it with her. I spent the majority of the movie laughing. Just...ugh. Not my thing at all.

I've known my current girlfriend for about 6 years (from jr. high school till now my last year of high school). She was in the accelerated program, and I met her through my best friend who was also in her classes. I actually didn't like her too much at first, and we were never that great of friends until 2 years ago. She started coming to movies every few weeks with my best friend and I, and we really hit it off, and have been best friends for the past year and a half. We ended up kissing after I spent a night comforting her for the night, and was confused as to where we were. We've been dating since then, and I've never been happier.
