    Welcome to A2A, keith_newhouse.

Have you had a medical checkup? While age wreaks its destruction on everyone, this seems too sudden. It would be worth checking there isn't a medical condition. For example, diabetes reduces peripheral circulation. You should also have your blood pressure checked.

It could also indicate an increase in stress or anxiety.

Welcome to A2A, ar-de15. Everyone has their own differences in what turns them on. I can't see it as indicating anything wrong.

sdp is of course joshing with you, but I wonder what site would put an upper limit on what was permissible/acceptable/normal or whatever. It's an especially strange thing to say for your age, because of course puberty doesn't strike everyone at the same age, and some 15-year-olds will have practically completed the process, while some others will still be at an early stage in it. You may grow more, but you may not.

Surveys of adult men where they ask them about their penis size get an average of six and a bit inches, though all the surveys where they don't take their word for it and actually measure get an average much closer to five. So you can assume you are over average, but not unreasonably so. Condoms here, I believe, are made to cover up to 8 1/4", thereby being sufficient for almost every male.

(Whether you need the 'bigger size' condoms is determined not by length, but thickness/girth.)

    Welcome to A2A, Charles!

It sounds like a friction burn, sometimes called a 'carpet burn' or 'rug burn'. Generally no treatment is required for a mild friction burn except avoiding any further friction. If you have any antiseptic cream it might be a good idea to apply some, to make sure it doesn't get infected. It should heal over a couple of days.

    Welcome to A2A, faner.

I'm not a lady or a teen but I can tell you that you are well in advance of most guys your age and are a typical size for an adult. But perhaps you already know this. :)

Yes, everyone has a frenulum between the foreskin and the glans (and also another one between the bottom of the tongue and the bottom of the mouth). However, it is mostly removed in circumcision, so circumcised guys no longer have theirs.

Normally the frenulum causes no trouble in sex: the foreskin can move up and down freely over the glans. Sometimes the frenulum can be too short (frenulum breve) and cause trouble and it may then need to be lengthened with very minor surgery. Frenulum breve is generally rare but there are some ethnic groups that are prone to it.

Yes, just keep working at the foreskin and cleaning as best you can.

Welcome to A2A, 8th_hokage. Your post suggests two possible causes of your problem, and more information is needed to tell which it is:

    1. Does the foreskin pull back easily, both when you are soft and when you are hard? If it does not, the solution is stretching exercises each day, which will slowly grow the skin and make it looser. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phimosis

    2. Or it might be that that 'string' of flesh (the frenulum) is too short. That is called 'frenulum breve' and does make sex painful. It can be corrected with minor surgery (under local anaesthetic). Unfortunately the frenulum doesn't respond much to stretching exercises. If not treated it can tear during sex (sometimes referred to as 'snapping your banjo string'), which often relieves the problem, but not always.

Hmm, if you're not very close friends I think you will have to get to know each other better first.

Hi Jules! I imagine your appointment on the 23rd was scheduled to find out how the prescription is working. There's no reason you shouldn't bring it forward a bit if you have a clear answer to that.

The extended release Adderall is designed to give you half the dose when you take it and the other half four hours later. It might be that what you want is not a higher dose, but spread further into the afternoon. (You don't want it too late, though, or it might make it harder to sleep.) Perhaps you could take it a little later in the morning; or perhaps you could use the non-extended-release tablets and take half in the morning and half early afternoon. At one stage they were working on a triple-release Adderall but it doesn't seem to have come to market yet. Methylphenidate, a different ADHD medication, is available in slow-release formulations that work all day.

These are all things you can discuss with your doctor at your next appointment.

Welcome to A2A, Magdalene. Dr Ruddy's figures are rather larger that the results of a very large study reported in the Lancet in 1996 ( http://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(96)90806-5/abstract ), which found a 24% increase. They also found that "[t]he cancers diagnosed in women who had used combined oral contraceptives were less advanced clinically than those diagnosed in women who had never used these contraceptives", suggesting that women on oral contraceptives were being diagnosed sooner. A later study, published at the end of last year ( http://humupd.oxfordjournals.org/content/16/6/631 ) also only found a small increased risk of breast cancer, and a reduced risk of ovarian and endometrial cancer. However that's of little comfort when it has hit you yourself.

Welcome to A2A, DanielTheManiel. For description of stretching exercises, see here. The important thing is you should take it slowly, never force it, and expect it to take some months. If you force it you will tear the skin, and the scar tissue that then forms makes things worse. So take it very easy.

@frank "Stretching" means pulling the foreskin gently but regularly so that it grows looser. There isn't one right way to do it, but http://www.newhealthadvisor.com/How-to-Loosen-Foreskin.html gives three methods and https://phimosisjourney.wordpress.com/guide/ includes diagrams and a lot of advice.

The penis head is usually redder than the normal skin: it is not covered by ordinary skin, but by mucous membrane, like the lips. Its actual colour, however, depends on how aroused you are, the temperature, and various factors.
