Well all menstrual protections are safe but it totally depends on our use. Tampons are especially helpful if the teen swims, plays sports or exercises. I don't prefer to use tampons as it is not long lasting. My friend advice me to switch to use menstrual cup which is similar to tampons. There are a few reasons to switch to a menstrual cup. One obvious reason is that it’s better for the environment, since a single menstrual cup is reusable for many years and therefore drastically reduces waste. It will also save you money in the long-term. Any women also find that menstrual cups like ( Femmy cup, cup menstruelle , Moon cup etc )are more comfortable and convenient than pads and tampons. Tampons shouldn’t be worn longer than eight hours or overnight because of the risk of toxic shock syndrome(TSS) and we should know how to use it. The risk of toxic shock syndrome from a menstrual cup is also extremely low compared to tampons.
