    I bought a brand new power rack with high low cable attachments, incline/decline bench, barbell, dumbells and nearly 200kgs worth of various sized rubber coated weights for just over $1000 including delivery (which is a lot). That's more than enough to do all the major lifts and work your entire body. "Tools" are a waste of money. If you want "tools" go join the gym.

    I love cars, computer games and fantasy books.My girlfriend hates all three.My girlfriend loves fashion, traveling and romantic films.I hate all three.But we love each other, and have been together for over four years.We don't understand each others obsessions, but we tolerate them.The point is you don't need to connect on every level. So long as you enjoy each others company, and want to spend time with them, that's enough.

    Cardio will NOT give you bulkier muscles. If you cycle for 3 hours straight you will lose a ton of weight.

    Go pick up some heavy weights and start eating if you want to bulk up.

    He needs a partner. Not you, but another mate he can go with.Honestly, the best motivation you can have is a good mate to workout with. The gym is where men get their gossip on.Someone from work would be good, if he can find a gym nearby and bring his gear to work, they can head there straight after. He might struggle at first, but once they've been doing it for about a month it should be routine.

    For the amount of time and effort put in he will see very minimal gains, if any.

    It will be a frustrating pointless routine that'll only put him off.

    To the OP, no one cares how you look at the gym. Really. Only you (any many, many others out there, including me at once stage of my life) think they care.

    I would classify that more as infatuation. You can be in love AND be infatuated, but that's not to say that all the couples in the world who aren't head over heels dumbfounded with one another aren't in love.To me, love is something like a mix of; trust, respect and intimacy.Like people, I feel a relationship can age and mature too.
