Well me and my girlfriend just broke up. I was the one that did the breaking. I was just getting fed up with everything that was going on and finally hit my breaking point. I know its not easy for anyone and that is to be expected. I'm just wondering what were some of the ways that best helped you get over your love? I guess I could use some light at the end of the tunnel in a moment like this.

Me and my girlfriend have been going out for around 2 1/2 years. We are deciding to take a break because we want to move out together so we need to see if we truly want to be together. Do you think this is a good idea.

    Thanks
    Nick

What does it mean when im in a relationship for two years, but I recently met a new friend and im starting to have really strong feelings for her. Its not really her looks so much, but just the things that we have in common and just her personality. We recently hung out with another friend just to watch a movie, and the whole time i couldnt watch the movie because i was thinking of her. Do you think this would just be "lust" or "infatuation", or should i just let it be and not pursue anything. I would break up with my current girlfriend if I did pursue something of course.

Well I guess I'm kind of at a cross roads in life. Its my senior year and I'm about to graduate, going on to college where I live next year. My girlfriend (shes a year older in college) and I have been together for two years in June. We were making plans to move in with each other this summer. I guess I'm just not feeling as in love with her as a once was.
I don't know if I should try to talk about it and make it better. Or just end it soon. I know shes not going to take it well. So just needing some guidance on the subject.
    Thanks
    Nick

LOL. Nah we do it together. I sometimes feel like I'm doing more than her though.

Well she wants to go for lighting design for theatre. But the college she is currently at is not the best. But she plans on transferring after two years. But her grades arnt so good. She's failed the last two semesters not because she can't do the work, just because she hates the environment of the school. But due to money issues she can't go anywhere else at the moment.

My girlfriend is currently enrolled in a technical college. For some reason she just cant get motivated to do any of the work, most of the time i have to sit with her and do the work. Is there any way to get her motivated to do college. Or is it just better for her to drop out. She thinks if she took a semester off she wouldn't go back.
