most girls that i talk to are like why are the good looking guys nearly always bi or gay i hear this alot but its confusing lol what do u ppl think
-
K whats with this
-
They are always gay, its because they care about how they look.
-
Actually they're all straight because I'm gay and I have crushes on them.
-
no waaaay every gay guy i have ever seen is alwaaaaaaays sexy. Its a curse on women, ask any!
-
Gay men buy clothes in stores, own combs, and take showers. No heterosexual man can compete with that. Plus gay man like men, as do women, so they have something in common, whereas heterosexual men like football, college basketball, fighter jets, computers, and car engines.
-
haha very funny
-
lmao i well i thought it was i was thinking of that as an awnser 2
-
That's not entirely accurate. I like fighter jets, computers and car engines. And big trucks (I own one by the way-8" of lift).Name something else manly and I probably like it except sports and girls. Girls just isn't a fair topic for gay guys.
-
I was being sarcastic. I doubt that there's a lot of diffence in interests between gay and straight men, other than who they'd like as a sex partner. For all I know, the guy who won the Indy 500 is gay.
-
In reply to:I doubt that there's a lot of diffence in interests between gay and straight men In my experience (I have several gay friends) our interests are not really that similar. Most of my (supposedly) straight friends are into sports to some degree, detest soap operas, detest chat shows, detest reality TV shows, read fiction, like big Hollywood action movies, take no interest in celebrity gossip and prefer sitting in the pub chatting to going out to a nightclub.By contrast, most of my gay friends (there are some exceptions) take very little interest in sports, watch soap operas and chat shows religiously, are big fans of "Big Brother" and "I'm a celebrity...", read predominantly non-fiction and 'serious' books, can't stand movies like "Mission:Impossible" (although most of them like Tom Cruise ), always know the latest news about every celebrity no matter how obscure and would probably die if they couldn't strut their stuff on a dancefloor at least twice a week. The only things we really have in common are the general male interests of cars, gadgets, dirty jokes and penises
-
The only things we really have in common...So what do you have in common with women? The think about straight men liking fiction and gay men liking non-fiction seems a bit odd. Do bisexual guys like things like historical novels and dramatizations of true stories? Do scientists and engineers tend to be gay?
-
i think you are right about it only being a sexual preference thing. Not all gays are flamboyant and girly and stuff. My brother is gay and he unfortunately is like that but I have met othre guys that were gay and it wouldnt be possible to tell if you didnt ask them. It just depends on the person.
-
I've met guys who I was sure were gay, base on the stereotypes...and they weren't. I suspect if you're a gay man living in Oklahoma, you tend to blend. If you're a gay man in Manhattan, you might gravitate toward the "scene", if you know what I mean.
-
yea that would make a lot of sense. I think nowadays it isnt just about heterosexuals and homosexuals anymore, now there are metrosexuals. Its just too hard to judge a book by its cover anymore.
-
Here we go again....another gay man in denial. Just go with it dude....you'll have a happier life.
-
I guess it gets down to what each person perceives as sexy. It's very subjective. I believe personality, character, intelligence and manners blended with individual good taste in dress and grooming define sex more so than pure looks. Each person projects there own image and it clicks with some and not others. I can overlook a lot of physical imperfections if the brain is challenging. Once we take the time to know a person we discover more things about them that are sexy.
-
Not even gonna give you the time of day this time because it's obvious now you are just seeking attention.
As for the topic of not much difference between gay and straight men I agree. There are always going to be exceptions to everything, but for the most part there isn't much difference except for their sexual orientation. I personally like football (esp if its the Steelers playing "Go Go Steelers!!" woo woo lol) and like baseball, but only if I am playing it..watching it puts me to sleep lol.
But on the otherside I do like reality shows like American Idol, Hell's Kicthen (the show was just fun!), and those court room shows lol.
-
Steelers?! You traitor!

"Here we go again....another gay man in denial. Just go with it dude....you'll have a happier life."LOL LOL LOL

In reply to: The think about straight men liking fiction and gay men liking non-fiction seems a bit odd. I agree, it does seem a bit odd but most of the gay men I know are more openly 'intellectual' than the straight men I know and their reading matter seems to reflect that. That seems to be a general trend across the UK. I only have 2 gay American friends and their social group is exclusively heterosexual apart from them so I don't know whether or not this trend is the same in the US, although my (brief) experiences in New York and Los Angeles seem to indicate that it's true in those cities, at least. As another example, in my large social group, I'm the only straight bloke who doesn't buy a tabloid paper every day. I buy "The Guardian" which is a broadsheet. Most of my gay mates also buy broadsheets although most of them are "Telegraph" readers. In reply to:Do bisexual guys like things like historical novels and dramatizations of true stories? I couldn't say because the only person I know who identifies themselves as bi is my lesbian friend's girlfriend who is proud of the fact that at 42 years of age she's only ever read 1 book in her life. In reply to:Do scientists and engineers tend to be gay? Probably no more than any other profession but I don't know for sure.
