I was just wondering if anyone here has had one. My friend has gotten so 'good at it' if you can call it a skill, that he can choose when he wants to or not. And if you've had one, is it true you can practically dream/create whatever the hell you want?

Lucid Dreaming
-
ive looked into that. i keep forgetting to practice tho..
-
I have only done this once. When I was younger I kept having this dream over and over again. Well I was in the middle of the dream when something outside my dream actually woek me up but I never opened my eyes. Well, it must be because I never opened my eyes or what but I continues to dream, and I was in control of that was happening.Sadly the dream was not sexual lol.. but instead it was fighting demons that were trying to kill my family. Well I was much younger mind you so I made myself a wizard or something and killed them with magic ROFL. Yes corny but what more do you want from a young kid??? LOL!Anyways that's my little story about that. Tease Away! Lol

Oh yeah, I get those especially whenever my dream is too far out of touch with reality that I realize this can't be anything other than a dream. And I've had a lot of fun with my boyfriend in those dreams, too! I was able to control my actions, but I did not directly control his. He just kind of went along with everything. It was nice.

I wish I could control what I dream ...

i've researched it yeah apparntly you can control it. i guess it is like a skill, that you can get better at it as time progresses. I read that some guy at university studied it for ages and became pretty good at it.i've only had one lucid dream and like most people, i had trouble staying asleep when i knew i was asleep. it lasted maybe 5-10secs before i woke, but yes i had control over my actions.there are many methods on how to do it, but it all pretty much involves a lot of effort.a friend i know said he used to do it all the time, and he described it exactly to what i've read on the net...definately very very interesting

my freshman year of high school i used to have them all the time...now that im a senior i dont really dream much anymore for some odd reason.

Are you sleeping well? Do you feel rested? If so than you are probably dreaming and just don't remember them (Which is very common). Otherwise if you don't feel rested than you're probably not falling into deep sleep. To dream, they say you need to be in the REM stage of sleep. Though it's possible to have a "dream" at the early stages of sleep as well. Those are the dreams that usually result in people jumping 10 feet out of their skin because they feel completely real. I remember when I was around 18 I had a dream where I was on a cliff ledge and my boyfriend and my ex boyfriend were infront of me with their backs towards the cliff and standing right at the edge of the cliff. Well They told me I had to make a choice on who i wanted to be with. Well I gave a dirty look to my ex boyfriend and my boyfriend I gave a smile and walked up to them and pushes my boyfriend off the ledge. I ended up jumping from the bed screaming "no!" Well my boyfriend was there asking what was wrong lol. Those dreams are always so vivid.

I have loads of lucid dreams, at least two a week. Tip - question things. The real trick of Lucid Dreaming is to try and spot something out of the ordinary in the dream, realise its a dream, but restrain from waking. It takes a lot of practice and persistence, but once you get it, you can explore the boundries of your mind - which is interesting if your me, lol.

no im always tired but last night after posting this i had a weird dream about some dude that was trying to drive the car while i was driving and i had to slam on the breaks to stop him.

i had a lucid dream that went wrong! i tried to creat this fantasy of the girl i liked falling in love with me, but she just ended up making out with other people. I just think about it really hard before i go to sleep. but usually I always create dreams about epic warfare where my backs always up to the wall and me kickin the enemies ass!
