Im thinking about switing from Ortho Evra to Nuva ring. Im worried about a few things tho:My aunt when she was younger was using a birhtcontrol you inserted also (it was like a flexible wire type thing) and it made it so she cannot have kids, I am wondering if this could happen with this birth control also. Now, I dont want kids. Ever. But, i may change my mind later. 2) If you dont 'insert' it right (cause lets face it ladies, we dont exactly have a birds eye veiw down there) it might get "lost" or something and then, getting it out also might cause a problem.

Nuva Ring
-
I have friends that uses them and they LOVE them. ALso, they say its really really really easy to put them right in place. I was actually considering nuva rings instead of my silicone tube, but our sexlife wouldnt work with one :P
-
Was your aunt talking about an IUD? Nuvaring won't get lost, and you can't put it in wrong. It's as easy as using tampons.
-
but our sexlife wouldnt work with one why not? I was actually wondering, wouldn't the man's penis bump into the ring during sex?
-
Its big, it looks like 8in, circumph.
-
I dunno what it was, all i know is it was flexible wire and she got a huge settlment cause she cant have kids now. She didn't tell anyone but me she was even on birthcontrol.
-
8" in circumference? what are you crazy?? I think you mean centimeters, because that's definately closer. LMAO i just imagined an 8 inch nuva ring, and me trying to sqeeze that thing with both hands to get it in!
-
sounds like an IUD and yes the guy can bump into them.
I dated a girl that used one a couple years ago, My dork smacked into it many many times and it was most uncomfortable.
actually it fucking hurt. it poked my pecker many times and always hurt like a bastage. I highley recomend against them, atleast from the mans perspective. -
> 8" in circumference?
That's 8" / pi = 2.5" diameter (approx.)
-
nah, the guy doesnt feel it at all, the penis wont bump into it
-
i think they are different now, atleast here. i never heard of anyone even feeling them
-
I dont think you can get them anymore cause of the huge lawsuit, when you make woman all acrossed america (the world maybe, cause i dont know if she was here or france then) and make it so they cant have kids, then pay them a hefty sum (enough to build i huge house in Big Bear California, a boat and other luxuries) Somehow, i dont think they would sell it to other people.
-
Riiiiight circ is around d'oh don't i feel like a moron, now.
-
iud stands for intrauterine device and is usually placed by a physician inside the uterus...way up there. its highly unlikey that is what you ran into.
-
Yep.. my ex can testify with you on that one. I actually went back to the Dr, and had the threads shortened.... That fixed it.A case of where having a shorter penis is better! ROFL!!
-
Java i work in a pharmacy and people get the nuva ring often. Ive heard no complaints. It all depends on the individual if they like it or not. Try it, if you dont like it switch. No biggy
-
i think ill be sticking with my patch, its to care-free to change
-
lol yes they are popular too. To be honest all forms of contraceptive are popular. Ortho evra being one of the most. Like i said, stick with what works for u
-
yea, i dont like the idea of shoving something up there (sorry for being crude, im out of coffee) and i cant take pills so a patch is really my only other option.
-
You dont like shoving things up there? well then my friend u should not be answering any sex questions.....lol jk jk :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
