Hey everyone, been a little while since I've been here. Anyway I'll get on with what I need help with. So yesterday I found out that I'll be moving next summer but I don't know where I'll be moving to. There is a slim chance that I'll be living in the same area, but I doubt it. When I heard that news, I was shocked and I started thinking about my friends that I will possibly be leaving behind. I was still thinking about that until I went to be last night and when I woke up this morning, I started thinking about it again. I'm trying to stop thinking about it since it's like half a year away and I may be in the same area but I just can't get it out of my head.Is there anything I can do to stop thinking about it?

I can't stop thinking about it.

What exactly are you thinking about? Are you afraid you'll never see your friends again or something like that?

Yes, that's exactly what I'm thinking about. -
If that's the case, don't worry about that.
In today's day and age, it's very easy to communicate with anyone in the world. Phone/e-mail/snail mail will allow you to keep in contact with them, so it's not like you'll never hear from them again.

Don't your parents know where you guys are moving? If they do, can't they relieve you by telling you so you actually have a reason to worry about other than a possibility?StillSearching is right though, it's not like you won't hear from them again. There are many ways to keep in contact of them and in a lot of cases people just have to suck it up and move on even if they don't like it. That's the way it works sometimes.
