A little while ago I noticed a bump on my inner thigh. It hurt a bit when I touched it and when my legs rubbed together. I started pushing it into my leg and now it's retreated into my leg and gotten smaller though I can still feel it.My question is: What the hell is it?

A Bump?

You'll have to give more information. What does it look like: color? size? Does it look like there is something in it?I've gotten pretty large bumps on my inner thighs and they tend to be related to heat...kind of like a blister. It was very painful at times, but it went away with summer, and with switching to tighter underwear.

My guess is a sebaceous cyst, but it's only a guess. If left alone, they usually go away over a couple of months.

Okay FartLighter, let's see... it looked just like a large bump, the place where it touched my skin is a sort of dark greyish colour. Currently, it's just the size of a large mosquito bite. When it was larger, I could feel something hard in it, but now it just feels like a bubble. Ineligible, I'll look up some information on cysts and see if it sounds like that. EDIT: Eww, I just poked it with a needle... stupid choice. It started oozing red stuff that looks like blood except it's gooier.

That sounds like a deep blood blister.

Yeah, it will go away. That is exactly what I had. I made the mistake of popping it as well. It is a combination of blood and pus.It is probably from friction. Wearing tighter underwear will help reduce friction and the pain associated with the irritation. It will eventually disappear.

I was really worried when it first appeared, but I'm feeling much better about it now.

Thanks for the suggestion HelmsmaN, I'll do that if I get another one.
