If you live in Central Ohio, you'll know that we didn't get any substantial amount of snow for the holiday season. I'm originally from Northern Indiana, so I missed the snow this year. That sucked a little, and to top it off, I had to repair my car for the past few weeks, so that was lame. And my mom has been jobless since May, so that was a little more of a burden than usual. Start of break = suck. The rest, however, completely changed that.On Christmas Eve, I had a date with a girl I've known for years. I got my car up and running again that day, two days ahead of schedule, so I didn't feel like a punk who couldn't drive his lady lol. I got back from the date, which went amazingly well, and my friend Nick called and said he had my Christmas gift early... a 27" flatscreen ZRT (tube) Television and a matching entertainment center... for my bedroom. Until now, I've been using the same 24" TV since 2000, so 480p is a MAJOR step up. On Christmas, I got some much needed clothes (most of mine were coated in oil or brake fluid) Fallout 3 (amazing) and a few other little things. Yesterday I hung out with Marisol, the girl I went on a date with. I walked her to the door when I dropped her off, gave her a hug, and she grabbed me by the back of my neck and laid one on me. Well, more than one... Then she said something I never expected to hear her say; "Ya know how I said I wasn't ready to date anyone? I was wrong. Pick me up at noon stud, and bring your bowling shoes..." and she went inside... It took me a few minutes to realize what had happened, but by the time I did, I was home. Today, my sister got home from spending the weekend with her boyfriend, and we went to BW3's for wings, where she won our meal simply by being there at the right time... Just felt like sharing, I'm in such a good mood. I get my entertainment center tomorrow, Marisol and I are going to a movie when she gets off work, and I have leftover wings... great week.
