Hi,after repeaded inflamations of my glans my doctor suggested circumcision to me. I would be glad to get rid of my problem, but the thought of having my glans always exposed is a bit frightening to me.1. feeling:I have heared it takes some time of adaptation to get used to the feeling of the exposed head after healing. How long would that be? And does 'getting used' mean you lose a lot of sensation for sex?Is it true that cut men are reminded of their penis more often and can get aroused from the head rubbing against underwear during sport or so?2. reaction of others:As there are not many cut guys in Europe won't there be a lot of curious looks or even comments? It must be a weird feeling not being able to hide one of the most intimate parts of your body (glans) as soon as you change or shower with others.Anybody been circed as an adult?

Getting cut - how does it feel??

Did you get a second opinion? I am in reverse, I restored my foreskin by stretching, and the doctor did surgery to complete a closure at the end. Did the doctor give you any options other then he wanting to just "cut it off"?

Of course I can leave my foreskin as it is - that's why I want to know, what it would be like without one.

I am a european guy, and I'm cut, and quite honestly, I never think about it as an embarrassing problem as you say here, I was cut when I was 7 or 8, I forget now, but it was for medical reasons, and it was something that couldn't have been solved by the stretching and whatnot. At the time, it was the most painful thing I've ever had done, but I have to say in adult life, I'm glad I had it done!! It's just generally a lot cleaner, I don't have to worry about getting yeasty there or anything else, to me I don't feel as though I've lost any sensation, and I'm sure your body would adapt to feel the sensation again after the initial pain if this is the path you chose.I have an excellent sex life, and actually feel like being cut gives me something of an advantage in certain areas... after all, ribbed for her pleasure heh hehThis is always a touchy subject for people, as some people are firmly against, and some people will be fore, really though the decision is yours, after all it's you who will have to live with your choice, and whatever you choose you have to be sure it's the right choice for you, not what I or anybody else tells you.Good luck

I got circumcised a year ago. It hurts for a few days then it's sore for a week or so. 3-4 weeks before you can masturbate. it's well worth doing if your foreskin is a problem.
