HELP! - white flakes on penis
-
Where ever there is skin.........it could get dry once in a while. Try using lubes during handjobs........it may help in reducing the flakes that appear afterwards. As you saliva soothes it down that means the skin is dry.

Welcome back, anondude! My guess is a fungal infection. These don't necessarily itch, and they can cause flaking skin. A good example is dandruff. It won't hurt to try some antifungal cream and see if it fixes the problem. If it's fungal, you should see it get much better in a few days. In that case, keep using the cream for at least a week, preferably two, after it has all gone, or it may come back.

I agree with you.

Haha, do you remember me Ineligible? hahaAnyways, yeah, the saliva doesn't always do it, but I think Ineligible hit it right on the head (no puns intended ) But it kind of looks like dandruff. It is ONLY on the upper part of the shaft right under the head. I don't know what kind of anti fungal cream to get. I did some research and some people suggested some 1% OTC hydrocortisone cream, but i didn't know if that's the right stuff. I have something for psoriasis but I think that is a lot worse skin condition. This one does NOT itch, nor does it really ever get red (unless there's vaginal sex, but for the most part, the redness is just due to natural occurrences, aka me getting an orgasm Thanks for the help tho guys! Nothing major, but if I ever get a new girlfriend, it'd have to be fixed, and its a personally a slight concern to me. Thanks!

Of course I remember you, and welcome back. Hydrocortisone is not an antifungal. It's an anti-inflammatory, so it suppresses the symptoms of inflammation (redness, swelling, etc) without dealing with the underlying causes. Any true antifungal cream should be suitable - there are quite a few. Anything that says it can be used for athlete's foot or ringworm or thrush or candida or tinea or jock itch should be usable. If you get psoriasis it is of course possible that the psoriasis has spread to your penis and you'll need your psoriasis cream there, but I'd try the antifungal first because it's milder.

You could try Nizral (ketaconazol) cream/lotion which is a good anitfungal........thats what my dad (he is a doctor) told me to use if I had 'problems' ..........its works well........hydrocortizones may not be helpful in your case.

Well now I feel good because someone remembered me! Haha, now the question is what do you remember! haha.As for the advice, thanks! I'll definitely have to look into anti fungal creams. I have psoriasis cream, but like you said, it is SUPER strong, heh.Appreciate it!

**Yeah, so I think the best advice is to get some type of anti fungal cream, because I have tried just about everything else!
And good job on using the search function! A lot of people don't know how to do that, heh.**
