Ok so I've been working on my weight on and off now for about a year. I was originally almost 220 pounds and eventually got down to about 170.Back then I was excersising and dieting and the changes made me feel really really good.I fell off the wagon though a little bit when I started having to work 6 days a week and I started making excuses to not go to the gym etc and gained 10 pounds back up to 180.I've recently decided to get back to my healthier eating habits and my regular excersise but I'm having a big problem. Unlike before where the diet and excersise were making me feel good I'm now feeling really really depressed. I'm not sure if it's because I haven't seen any results yet (the scale won't budge and my pants are still too snug) or if it's some sort of hormonal thing or if my body is just reacting badly to the abrupt change. Please help. What can I do to make myself feel better and keep motivated?

Diet. Excercise. Depression?

I think it's pretty common to be tired and in a general lower mood than normal after you've been dieting for a while. I know that I can't think or do much other than sleep while I am trying to diet. I used to be the same way as you while I was being healthier: full of energy and happy. Things change, I guess, and the body just doesn't like it after a certain point. That's why I have had to up my caffeine intake by a huge margin now that I'm at the lowest body fat percentage that I've ever achieved.

The regular exercise and workout in gym can reduce the large amount of calories when compared to other fat reducer. Lot of water intake helps to lose the weight in a little time. I advise serenitmoonwolf to continue the workout that he has followed previously and he can feel the change quickly.

Maybe you are already stressed up from work. Why not try to relax yourself first. take some time off then try walking first.
