A lot of girls do this, but my last girlfriend did this a lot. When she was mad at me, she would recall on every little "mistake" I made in the past as if it were the issue now. The reason I put mistake in quotations is because a lot of the "mistakes" I made were just things she didn't like.lol. I'm sure almost everyone knows what I'm talking about.

Every woman does that. My girlfriend tends to bring up past events whenever she is mad about anything. It really pisses me off because I can't remember what I had for breakfast yesterday, nonetheless what she did to make me mad.But to answer the question at hand... my girlfriend and I were arguing and she came up to my job on the back of one of her brother's friend's motorcycle. There is more. This guy had kissed her like a year ago at a party when he was drunk. Me and him fought and then I guess I got over it, but it still pissed me off that she came up on the bike when we were arguing.

Its not just women that bring up the past.....guys do it too.......:)

I've never been the one to bring up past mistakes that a boyfriend did, beacuse... well they're in the past and they should stay that way ^_^ But I do give the silent treatment (why I don't know, it's just how I am), and my ex bf hated that. I went a week without talking to him (although we hung out, went to dinner and a movie, and did everything we always did, but I never said a word to him during that week). Pissed him off enough to finally say "I'm sorry." And that's all I wanted lol

We bring up past mistakes because we may not say anything at the time about what you do that pisses us off, but it gets stored in our brain. It adds up. So when we're arguing, we bring up past shit because it seems like a good time to let it all out. That's at least how I view it. It's still not right tho. My past bfs would never confront me about shit either. They would just act like asses and I wouldn't know why. Eventually I'd get so pissed off I'd call our relationship off and that's what they wanted. Why not just break up with me first or tell me what's going on?

When my bf is mad at me he acts like an ass. He hardly ever tells me why he's mad, he just stops talking to me, then I have to try to guess why he's upset. So just to be the asshole that I am, when I know he's mad at me, I'm super nice to him. Nothing pisses off somebody who's already pissed off like kindness. After forcefully giving him lots of hugs, smiles, and kisses we usually end up making up without me having to apologize.
