-
hmmmmm, now where's my sausage?
*looking high... looking low* -
I just saw the new trailer...it kicks ass!I can't wait to see this movie. It may very well be the best one of the six.
-
To see the full trailer go to www.movieweb.comIt so rules!!!!!
-
Well I have to say, going by the trailer that it looks like its gonna be the best of the 3 new films...........and i'm not even a big star wars fan but I'm looking forward to seeing it!
-
NO!... the episode II was great.... the tide of characters was very difficult to see... if u dont pay attention to the first 3 episodes of star wars .. you will immediatly think that they are shit..... if u just sit and watch the movies and try to understand them.. you will change of opinion...
-
Yeah, it only noticed on my third time watching EpII the plans for the Death Star in the background. When I saw it I was, like, woah! There is loads of stuff that you have to be paying attention to to notice. Important plot lines and character developments and the like.
-
This might have been said/ not true, but I heard they may expand into the "new universe" (after return of the jedi).
-
yaahh i heard that too... i hope the dont make an episode VII... the six we have (will have) are just perfect .. no more no less
-
yeah... still i would like to see if they could pull it off without being beaten to death with light sabers by purists
-
It ain't gonna happen. Have you seen Mark Hammill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher lately? They are really old!Harrison Ford was supposed to make Indiana Jones 4, but they've been talking about it for so long and nothing's happened yet that I seriously think that if they ever get around to making it, he'll be too old to make it worthwhile.
-
I was sooo looking forward to a new indiana jones movie, tho I think harrison out to play the father of the main character now cos he is getting too old.........

In reply to: It ain't gonna happen. Have you seen Mark Hammill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher lately? They are really old! They're supposed to be older! Thats the thing, some episodes are months apart, others years! The gap between EpI and II is 10 years, and who knows how big the gap will be between EpIII and IV!!!

If you've ever paid much attention to Star Wars, you'd know that George Lucas won't do any more films. He only mentioned episodes 7-9 back in the last 1970s but since then every time someone's asked him about it, he said it isn't going to happen. Since the whole series is about the rise, fall, and redemption of Darth Vader, I don't see much point in continuing the series after Return of the Jedi. Just because there have been hundreds of books published, many of which take place in that time period, doesn't mean there's going to be movies made based on them.Mark Hammil would probably do it, so maybe you'll see him in the television series. I don't think Ford will do it, and I am quite certain Carrie Fisher won't do it as she seems to be rather annoyed by the whole Princess Leia thing. She doesn't want to be bothered with it anymore.Go check out www.theforce.net for everything Star Wars.

I personally don't like "next generation" films/series. They never have the same sparkle as the originals. People have a hard time warming up to the new characters if the originals are not present or don't have a prominent role.If they keep messing around, Indy 4 will never get made. To my knowledge, they have scrapped two scripts as Lucas wasn't satisfied with them. Ford agreed to do them, but it's been close to 4 years and still nothing is set in stone.

In reply to: If you've ever paid much attention to Star Wars, you'd know that George Lucas won't do any more films. If you had paid attention to my previous posts, you would have read that I already said that Lucas wasn't going to make any more. I was just stating that them being older is not a good reason not to do newer movies.

No, I think someone else said that

I said it

I saw on fark .com a couple of weeks ago a page of around 90 pics from the new movie, and pretty much told the whole story for you. It looks awesome, I can't wait to see how Grevious moves in CGI if it looks anything like the recent cartoons. I myself have really enjoyed the new trilogy. I don't think many people grasp the structure of trilogies like Star Wars, and that's why the new one hasn't done as well....especially episode 1. The first is always an introduction of characters, followed by the buildup, and then the peak. Then you have a series. Another complaint I have heard from various people is the way everything looks so much more technical in the new one, like vehicles and such. No one ever considers that regardless of CGI advances in 30 years, even in the story it makes sense. In episodes 1-3 everything was great like the repuclic and economy and such. In the later episodes the economy was bad and obviously the rebels wouldn't have the greatest technology. Even after this movie I think they could go and do the last three episodes. If anyone has read the books they know that the Jedi Order is rebuilt, and you read about the growing up of Han and Leia's kids who become Jedi, along with Chewie's neice.
