I have 2 seperate questions, regarding the fact that I am trying to get pregnant. 1. Is there a way to tell is a guy has a low sperm count? I've heard numerous wivestales that the whiter/more cloudy the males cum is the more sperm are in it. I had discounted it, but perhaps it has some basis? 2. In a woman's cycle when is the best (more common) time to have an egg fertilized? I just finished my period today for example- would it be better to have more sex right after I finish my period, or in the middle or right before I start? Thank you, any websites on the subject(s) would be wonderful to know as well!Amy

We're here to prevent pregnancy not to encourage it j/k No, there's really no way to tell if a guy's sperm count is low other than being medically tested. The best time to conceive is obviously during ovulation, which for most women is right in the middle of your cycle, but if you're just starting to try have sex as much as you want, it really isn't going to make a difference. Have fun and don't focus too much on trying to get pregnant every time you have sex, just let things happen naturally. Be sure to be eating well and taking a multi-vitamin
