Firstly, this may sound like a totally stupid question. Ive been to alot of house paerties, and when im drunk I just go round finding all cans and bottles that have booze in and drink them. However, I was wandering if it was possible to catch some STD like chlamydia from these cans.Ill set the scene...Say if some girl had been giving a hand job to a guy with an STD, then the girl touched a can of beer, then I picked up the can of beer, and went to the toilets (held my penis whilst peeing). Would it be possible to get an STD from this?It probably cant, or is highly unlikely, but i'd just like to be put out of my miery. I dont know why but I just all of a sudden thought today I may actually have an STI allthough I have never had penertrative sex! Thanks alot

First of all, don't do this. It's kind of disgusting and a little desperate... if you're doing this because it's the only way you can get alcohol, then I suggest going to a liquor store and paying someone to buy beer for you. I know the alcohol at house parties goes fast, but don't appoint yourself the human trashcan. But no, you can't really get an STD from drinking someone else's beverage. While it may be theoretically possible to transfer oral herpes or something similar, you're going to be pretty much safe from STDs. You will not, however, be safe from more generic diseases. The human mouth is a fecund playground for a huge number of bacteria, and sampling the saliva of dozens of people is bound to get you at least a cold, if not worse.
