Well, I have been struggling to put my life back together and find work, even though it may not be something I really want. I took a temp job, short-term at a home depot organizing plants, and I would ask the supervisor what he wanted me to do next. I was there for two days and was "released" from it because according to the supervisor, I needed too much supervising. The thing is, I am really feeling bad because from early 2003 to now has been a nightmare. I had a similar thing happen to me in student teaching and I have had a hard time finding work ever since. I hate my situation so much that I am trying to get out of it any way that I can, but I can't endure much more of this. It makes me feel incompetent that I can get fired from a piddly job just because I needed too much supervising.
Do you do stuff on your own, or do you always ask for help? That might have a lot to do with it. Employers look for selfstarters and people that will work and not ask questions.
I have done stuff on my own, but I also would ask him what he wanted me to do. I was only on the job for 2 days.
