I have a confession to make:I came here via Something Awful. But!As you can see, I didn't come here to make fun/spam/flame, it was just out of curiosity. I actually visit most of the forums that are featured in the Weekend Web section. And 99% of them are as bad as they say. Occasionally, you find one such as this. While it does have it's inanities, it's nice to see a place where people can come and ask for real advice from real people. So, as you can see by my post count, I came, I saw... I stayed.

**I heard someone else did the same thing, we don't mind how you got here, as long as you like us  ........oh and arn't a troll LOL **
-
Well, I live in an apartment/flat, so that precludes me from being a troll in at least one fashion, no bridges.
And yes, I like you all, hence the fact that I'm still here.
-
that's so funny. I though I smelled something early on but kept it to my self. I think it was the "a2askank" thing.
welcome _convert_ :smirk:
Sow how far back does this thing between Something Awful and A2A go? -
The SA article was a few weeks ago.It was still pretty funny, since they always focus on the worst of the worst posts.
-
Yeah I noticed that as well. Most of the posts the showed were the trolls that came here asking bogus questions. But I suppose that's "good" marketing for what they wanted to express.
-
I did a quick search but didn't come up with it. I'll check the archive when I get a minute.Frankly, I thought at first (briefly) that you might be my wife trolling my forum. The reason behind that thought is a very long story. Also, you replied to me with "my brain asplode" which sounds like something she would say. lol
-
heh, actually, I picked that up from Fark.Is the wife a Farker or TotalFarker?
-
Nothing to do with SA, like I said, long story. Thanks for posting the article, a shall read it now.
-
lmao, I remember some of those dumbass threads!!
I noticed that he didn't dare quote me, I guess my reputation precededs me  or maybe I havn't said anything quite that dumb... yet (extra special dyslexic spelling aside)
