Hi. I just wanted to know if any of you ever get bored with your gf or bf. Like you lose interests and want to move on. For example (this was on my mind) if you get married and you've been married to that person for a long time. Is it possible to get bored with the person say... sexually or mentally? I'm trying to ask this in a way that makes sense :P. But what do you do if that person gets bored with you? Is it really true love or was that person just using you?ThanksAbby

Becoming bored?

It's possible for people to grow apart. Sometimes people become infatuated with each other after they meet, but when the hormone rush subsides, they realize that they don't have much in common. Hopefully, most people get beyond that point in their relationship before they tie the knot. But, even after they're married, sometimes people drift apart.(Did you ever find out from any of your friends what the rainbow room thing was?)

Yes, I'd rather not say.
I have another question. What if it has to do with parents? Like say you start to realize that your parents are becoming preoccupied with something else or they aren't the way they used to?

That is a difficult question. Since you're not with them all of the time, it's hard to tell what's going on. In fact, since they're human, it would be hard to tell in any case. Plus, your own perspective is not objective. They might be going through a temporary difficult time. Are you able to communicate OK with your parents? You can tell your mom (if she's easier to talk to than your dad) that your concerned. See what she says.

Eh, it's not exactly happening to me. It's my friend from camp. She's been calling me lately and telling me that her parents have seemed to seperate themselves from each other and she's noticed her dad has been glancing at a few other females. I don't know what to tell her because she thinks her parents are going to have a divorce... I don't know what else to tell her.I also wanted to know this for when I get older. I know I shouldn't be thinking about it now. But I'd like to know for future reference. I just want to try and prevent something like that from happening to me.
