I just moved into a hotel until i leave it a week, and the minute i stepped into the room they expect me to sleep in i got this really really bad feeling not like sad but just..bad i guess. I dunno. Has anyone else ever gotten that sort of thing stepping into a room? (i couldnt stay it in i had to get a room change)
-
Room?
-
yeah definitley, i get that a lot........not so much in rooms i guess, but in houses.........the whole house seems...........wrong?
-
exactly! Its just something not right its the hardest thing to explain
-
it is that feeling something unlucky happened there or something?
-
Did you get the prickly feeling on your skin and that sick feeling in your stomach? I always get that when I walk into a room that feels "wrong". And believe me, I don't stay around long enough to find out whats wrong with the room at all.
-
**I've been in a few places with my coven sisters that has felt very very very wrong, even made one of them pass out, another throw up..........im a sceptic witch, but have seen some wierd stuff LOL **
-
I dont really believe in luckI felt really sick, but i only stuck around for 30min before i couldnt handle it anymore
-
Oh I know all about seeing some weird ass shit! But I'm deffinatly not going to say what I've seen on here because then people will really think I'm crazy (well....erm... crazier than they already think I am lol)
-
You are all very strange. "Wrong" room, wtf....so weird...
-
I've gotten that a few times. But like Angel It's usually a whole house not just a room.
When I was shopping around to buy a house, I walked into this nice colonial style home. The house appearance was very nice, all beautiful wood work but I got the chills and a sinking feeling in my stomach as I walked through it, esp in the attic.
I truely believe if you are in-tune with your body/spirit you can pick up on good/bad vibes and energies. Just remember there are positive and negative energies all around us, just depends how sensative you are to them.

Thank you have was very helpful,See the whole hotel was fine, (its the sheraton in warsaw) But that perticular room was funny and not in the ha-ha sort of way lol.
-
....................................................
I love you all dearly, but body/spirit? lol....sorry.

In reply to:I truely believe if you are in-tune with your body/spirit you can pick up on good/bad vibes and energies. Just remember there are positive and negative energies all around us, just depends how sensative you are to them.Very new age-y. Makes some other discussions easier to understand.

In reply to: Very new age-y. Makes some other discussions easier to understand Yes I am very "new Age-y". Into meditation and Yoga etc etc. Even plan on starting to take Reiki classes from my friends mother who's a Reiki master., sounds very interesting. But I don't think being intuned to yourself has anything to do with being "new age-y", just how intuned you are to your emotions and feelings.

This is all gonna turn into the conversation in Pulp Fiction...We should be fuckin' dead!Yeah, we were lucky. That shit wasn't luck. That shit was somethin' else.Yeah, maybe. That was...divine intervention. You know what divine intervention is?Yeah, I think so. That means God came down from Heaven and stopped the bullets.Yeah, man, that's what is means. That's exactly what it means! God came down from Heaven and stopped the bullets.I think we should be going now.Don't do that! Don't you fuckin' do that! Don't blow this shit off! What just happened was a fuckin' miracle!Chill the fuck out, Jules, this shit happens.Wrong, wrong, this shit doesn't just happen.Do you wanna continue this theological discussion in the car, or at the jailhouse with the cops?We should be fuckin' dead now, my friend! We just witnessed a miracle, and I want you to fuckin' acknowledge it!
-
C'mon bob resist the urge to hijack my thread please lol
-
LoL!Well there is certainly a difference between divine intervention and negative and positive energies hehe. If you believe in all that that is
-
But I have too much free time!!!

Believe it or not, I've taken a Reiki and Therapeutic touch clases. What I found was a self-selected group of people who were primed to believe whatever the instructor said. I mean, how hard is it to convince yourself that you feel the "energy field"? A 9-year-old girl girl named Emily Rosa pretty much demolished the idea of Therapeutic Touch in a science fair experiment. It's is truly, demonstrably quackery, but people persist in believing.
I don't deny that people sometimes get a weird feeling when they enter a house or a room, but some of the explanations of the phenomenon are quite hilarious. And typically they'll be very confident in their explanation, when in reality it all comes down to brain function (which is increasingly being demonstrated through the use of functional MRI studies).

I've had many Reiki massages done and I truely felt the energy and did feel more energetic. I dunno I think you also have to truely believe in something like that to work. Your mind is a very power tool. Plus for Reiki to really work you have to clear your mind and truely relax, I don't think a 9 year old would be a prime candidate for the test. And I agree some peoples explinations are rather odd. I do believe in spirits and "ghosts", or whatever you want to call them. If nothing else I find it very fascinating. But I think a lot of times it just the residual energy left behind that people feel more often. It can be good energy and bad energy. I've had just as many situations where I walked into a room and very warm and comfortable and has even changed my mood from being grumpy to being happy.Like I said, its all subjectable.. just something I believe in =-).
