I just started using this stuff about a week ago, and it doesn't seem to be doing much of anything. If anything, it's making the acne worse, or so my sister says. I've been using a few "squeezes" of it every day twice or more a day. Today my sister says that I've probably been putting to much on, and that putting to much of it on "burns" the skin and could create more acne. She says I should only be using like a little dot of it. Anyone know if that's the cause of the acne wash not working?P.s. Is it alright if I post some pictures of just my acne on these forums so you can see, and perhaps tell me if I have severe acne, or normal...etc...and perhaps suggest something?

Using Neutrogena Acne Wash

haha...Yep. I live right on the beach. I to notice that when I surf twice a day every day, my acne isn't as bad. But yeah, no waves so I don't go that often. Maybe once a week swimming since it's flat. I just got some warm water mixed with salt and was just patting on my face for around 15 min. That's how my sister used to get rid of her white juicy pimples.

I use to see a dermatologist back in my teen years and my dermatologist highly recommended Neutrogena. I'm in my twenties now and I still get breakouts. It's just a normal part of life.

Ok thanks. What about Clean and Clear Daily Pore Cleanser? My sister is 18, and she used to have acne like me. She claims that it kept it "under control". She said I could have hers since she's pretty much acne free now. What is the better choice for me?

ok. I guess it's just trial and error to finding that magic one. haha...One last question. To most of you with acne breakouts: How long do your breakouts typically last?
