On my penis I have what is called skin bridges. strips of skin connect from the upper part of my shaft to my glands. After research I found out that it was a complication from when i was circumcised. strips of skin was fused to the head of my penis either from not removing enough forskin or improper care while it healed (when i was circumcised)I am asking if anyone out there have had them removed/cut. I've read its a quite simple procedure. But does it scar or hurt for weeks?, or have any other complications?thank you all, bpish

Here is a link on the subject. It appears that it can be corrected in a doctors office. I would suggest that you discuss it with him. http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/446165

Thank you, but Im looking for someone who has had this simple procedure, just to get a feel for what to expect, just alittle nervous about someone taking sissors to itbrendan

I wouldn't take scissors to it if I were you. The best advice would be to let a professional take care of it for you, but can understand you may not want to go that route. I have heard about people cutting skin bridges themselves with a sharp sterile razor blade after applying to the area a topical anesthetic like Anbesol or Orajel. Good luck with whatever you decide.John
