****This is a LONG read documenting how I dealt with my case. I hope it helps keep someone motivated.****
I just reg'd today mostly because I think there are alot of people around that have this problem but won't go about fixing it or don't know how. I'm 22 and in tact and as long as I can remember I couldn't get my foreskin back. Probably since I was about 7. The opening became so small that I couldn't even see the head even if i pulled it back, it was smaller than a pea.
I have a very active sex life and it's been this way since about 16 and this is when it really started to bother me. But like alot of people I had no idea what to do. I thought about getting cut but I was very embarassed. I didn't have a regular doctor since my family doctor went to the states (like so many other canadian docs).
It wasn't until I was 18 that I got a doctor. The only problem was, my doctor was a female. Very hard to talk to a female about this kind of problem personally.
So that takes me to earlier this year. It's bothered me for years, until I was 21 and I began searching on the net for answers. There was alot about stretching and alot about just getting cut. On the advice of many articles and random posts I got a new doctor (male this time) and talked to him about circumcision. He told me that there is no point unless I have pain, other than for aesthetics since Ontario Health won't cover the cost and might take me out for a day or two, which i couldn't have. I didn't ask him about stretching because it took me weeks to get the nerve to ask him about getting cut.
It just so happend that I have very sensitive skin and the same appointed I made to inquire about getting cut, I had exzema that was reoccuring. He prescribed me a topical steroid for the exzema and before I used it I searched on it to see if there was anything i should know about it.
The cream was beta mometasome furoate (sp?) 0.1%. I went back to the pharmacist and asked about the similiarities between this and commonly used metasome furoate 0.05% and he said it was similar. So I decided to give stretching a try with stretching. And it seems to have worked just fine.
So here I am, about 5 months later and I have made significant progress. I can now get the skin back and forth with no pain and no trouble.
I urge anyone that has the means to give the creams a shot, not neccessarily the same I had but the one reccomended by many. Because I feel that I had a truly EXTREME case and that if I can do it anyone can.
But just take it real slow. I have broken the skin a few times and the time it takes to recover is not nice. I hope this helps someone because I personally didn't know what to do.
Keep it real guys, getting ur whole body healthy can do alot for your outlook on life.
