hi, I read through several of the threads regarding phimosis and tight foreskin...honestly for the longest time I hadn't even realize this was the term for it and felt quite insecure about how my penis looked. Besides from having a small penis, when erect its between three to four inches when flacid its only a few centimeters almost child like. This is my problem then besides from the small penis which I've accepted when erect though my foreskin does not pass over my head at all....I think it may have when I was younger and experimenting with my body during those days of early purberty but it felt awkward and I refrained from furthering that excercise which I now regret. I am also overweight, I don't know if that attributes at all to my turtle cock and tight foreskin. But I'm wondering if I can even be able to stretch my foreskin if at the end my penis just retracts so drasticly non erect. I haven't seen a doctor yet, I'm still very nervous and shy about it. I'm going to practice some stretching first but if it doesn't work I probably will. Also as I mentioned when erect the hole at the tip of my penis where the foreskin circles is very small about the size of a dime and just when I masturbate too long I find that it hurts a little...specifically a vain that runs from the tip down the right side of the foreskin...I'm pretty sure this isn't the the one muscus skin part which i forget the term for that runs down the bottom of my penis. I was just wondeing if I can get any advice on this or some thoughts. Thank you and sorry for brining up an old topic.

Another tight foreskin question

Hi,You bring up several issues, the first having to do with penis size. Every guy worries at one point or another if his dick is normal. Although you may be slightly under the national average of 5-7 inches long, you have plenty of volume to do the job. My penis looks small when soft too, but I can't complain about the erect length/girth. Know this: not every chick desires a huge cock, just as not every guy likes watermelon-sized boobs on women.Second, you find it difficult to retract the foreskin past the corona (flared part of glans), presumably because the opening is too small. This is normal; a small percentage of men turn 18 before they are able to retract the foreskin. Gentle stretching exercises have helped countless men with this very problem, and if needed, a doctor can prescribe a topical steroid to help the stretching process. There should be no need to amputate healthy, erogenous tissue to correct your problem. Circumcision should only be considered as a last resort, when all else fails, even in real cases of phimosis. Keep in mind that the glans (head) is like a sponge so if your foreskin is trapped behind the corona, gently squeezing to compress the glans should allow the skin to be returned to its normal position.Next question, being overweight will make your dick look even shorter, as the fat on the pubic mound can be an inch thick. In no way would obesity affect the tightness of your prepuce. Don't worry, everything will work out for you. If any health issue is serious enough, you should face your fears and go talk it over with a competent medical professional. Doctors have and will see plenty of stranger genitals than yours.Best wishes,John
