Hello, this is my first post on A2K (afraid to ask) boards. I am 6'1, 200 lbs, Caucasion male. I recently got a new girlfriend this saturday night. She is awesome. 5'6 / 5'7 black hair brown eyes, puerto rican, skinny. We have been knowing each other for 2 years and our friends have been trying to push us together. This is me and her first real relationship. We are both 15 and our birthdays are very close (October 12'mine' - October 16'hers') and I am very nervous about our relationship. We started holding hands and hugging today. and I have been saying "I love you" to her. I talked to her on the phone and explained that if I am doing something she doesn't like or doesn't want me to do tell me. I told her I respect her decisions and I respect her as a person. We both like the same things: movies, games, anime etc. Our families met the other night (the night I asked her out). I have never had a real relationship with someone I like so I ask her if she wants to kiss. She said "not yet". I feel like I call her too much and I told her that and she says I don't but I feel like I do. Is this normal and can someone give me some advice. I am not your average pervertish guy. I really love this girl, she is amazing and I think about her all the time.

Well, you have been going out a few days and you're already saying "I love you"? Some people may find that a bit sudden. Personally, I think that since this is your first relationship you are feeling all these new things in your body and in your mind, and you are confusing this with love. Calling every night can be romantic and sweet, but if you do it for too long it can become tiresome and even creepy. As with the telling her you love her thing, at the start it can be cute and adorable, but too much of a good thing...
