No sorry this is not about politics. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
I have a dance competition coming up in about 2 weeks and it's supposed to be this really big ball out thing. I wasn't really taking it seriously at first because my dance group is always in battles all the time, but my captain seems really crazy about it now so I'm guessing it is a "big deal". The dance moves are sizzling hott lol I have to admit and the clothes also look really um.. sexy... a little too much. My friend Stacey (you might know her as smooches) is making the design and she's pretty creative. My only problem is I've been dumped with tons of 9 week exams coming up and my education crazed dad wants to make sure I get above a 97 on all of them! What the freak I'm not Einstein! But I'm getting really nervous about it because it's taking place in this huge stadium thing and there's probably going to be alot of people, and we were told that the majority age of people we were competing against are around the age group of 17 and up which is a really big difference for us since we usually go against people around our age which is about 14-16. I know that the battles I've been in were pretty competitive but those people were really immature. But it's a new crowd so there's most likely going to be a new atmosphere. We try to be really creative with our techniques by doing songs from way back to now adding salsa, punk rock, etc almost like a mix. That's about half the reason why we usually get high "ratings". It's not that serious but now some people are really putting on the pressure especially the leader who's completely lost her mind. Not to mention my oh so lovable sister who has nothing but negative comments for me. I love siblings, so very much. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: (Note to self: never visit your sibling when they've surpassed 21 years old). I know that education comes first above all (unless someone thinks otherwise.. hint hint) but this seems like a really great thing to look forward to and I don't want to let my group down. It's not that school is really hard for me. The classes are not that bad. EXCEPT CHEMISTRY! I HATE CHEMISTRY WITH A PASSION! WHEN SCHOOL IS OVER I'M BURNING THAT BOOK INTO ASHES! The devil reincarnated!! sorry... needed to let that out. I just need to know what would be the best thing. Thanks for the advice; I appreciate it.
