Well after taking a good hard look at myself, I am pretty upset how I let myself get out of shape. I'm about 6'2" and about 165 lbs, so it's not like I am over weight, I just lost a lot of the nice definition I used to have. I have a nice weight center in my basement that needs to be put together to help. I used to have a nice 6 pack, and toned muscles and really nice build legs (In High School I was able to nearly lift 800 lbs with my legs..the good old days lol)
My question is, what are some really good ab work outs? I know the startard crunches but I don't seem to notice much improvements. My doc said it might be because I had my stomach muscles cut in 3 different places when I had my appendix removed. So I'm looking for some hardcore techniques that concentrate hard on those muscles. The surgeon told me before surgery (about 3 1/2 years ago now) that once stomach muscles are cut you have a 10% chance to gain muscle tone back in that area.. so I might be SOL anyways.
Any help would be really appreciated because all the info I can find are just the normal ab workouts.
