Oh you have no idea !! I am purposely staying home tonight so I can fall asleep with my window open and hear the rain fall. I hardly ever rains here, so I try and take advantage of the few times it does and apperciate it.

Well when you get a degree from yale and harvard... then you can call him an idiot.

That must make John Kerry, Bill and Hilary Clinton, and many other well-known liberals pretty smart. Bill Clinton was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford, so he must have been smarter than all of them.Bill Clinton was a poor kid from Arkansas, so he got his scholarships on his own merit. The same can't be said for Bush. He was from a well-known family, and it's advantageous for a university to admit a subpar candidate from wealthy, influential family. He did not excel in high school, and he did not get excellent grades at Yale.Bush originally wanted to go the the University of Texas Law School, but they rejected him. Harvard Business was his fall-back choice. A good case could be made that what he learned there did not get him very far in his business or government jobs. The sad thing about Bush is that he had the opportunity to get a great education, if he had been motivated enought to have taken advantage of his opportunity. He squandered it. He always seemed to be bored by academics, the technicalities of government, foreign affairs, etc. He was never very interested in books or reading. What a waste. He's not unintelligent. But he sure is not an intellectual.

im not taking a shot at clinton or anyone, just saying that before you go and call him an idiot know the facts.

george bush got into yale on his daddy's name and money. And why yale AND harvard? Would a future Berkley degree work?

Do you think having an Ivy League degree confers wisdom? Think again. Bush had the opportunity to actually learn something (as did his father and grandfather), but he squandered it. He was more interested in paling around and partying. The result is a guy who fulfilled his degree requirements (presumably), but came out with little knowledge or wisdom. He's an incurious man. He seems to spend most of his spare time clearing brush. He seems to have more spare time than any other modern president. Are you from Texas? Tell us how his wisdom has manifested itself. Bush says he doesn't read newspapers; he doesn't consume books very quickly; what does he know, and how does he know it?In addition, the Ivy League schools are bastions of liberal thought and ideology.
