You know, whenever I'm single I can't seem to find anybody to go out with. And then once I find somebody, it's like there's a whole group of people to choose from. That kind of confuses me. Anybody else have that happen to them?

Does this only happen to me?

Perhaps it's like buses, where you wait for ages and then three come along. When people are asked to give random digits, they usually don't give the same number twice close together, let alone one straight after the next; but this happens quite often in real random digits.

Maybe you come across as more relaxed and less aggressive and/or needy when you're already in a relationship. Or maybe it's an illusion.
-
Yes, it only happens to you and no one else in the world.
-
it happens to me every single time, unfortunately...

I think it has to do with ppl wanting what they can't have. Like when they see you dating another girl, they immediately spark up interest in you, but once you break up or w/e, they loose it. It's almost like a trend...say tumagutchi, when you see someone playing with one, you want it bad, but once you get it, it's like "crap, this sucks and i don't want it anymore".

I think a lot of it is that when in a relationship you have more confidence in yourself cos someone likes you, its that confidence that makes you attractive to others...........and the fact that you are happy etc.........make the whole 'you' more attractive.

yeh i agree with angel

It's a combination of things really. When a person is in a relationship they tend to give off a certain vibe. It's not that you have more confidence, it's that you don't show interest in them anymore. It's really an attention thing really, this mainly only applies to women (men want a women whether she is single or not). Another thing is that when you are single you kind of say to yourself, "Hey, no one else wants it, so why should I?". It's just another barrier that our mind creates, blocking the truth of what we want and what is actually real. Good Times and Good Luck Friend.

I totally agree with jenjen. People always want what they can't have.
