On Saturday night, like 2 and a half days ago, me and my girlfriend decided to have sex. Anyway, we opened the condom and there was stuff on the outside and it was a condom with spermicide on it and I got scared there was a hole in it cause i didnt know whether the stuff shouldve been on the inside or out or was just lube. Also, the condom expiration date was like 6-13-08 Anyway, I told my girlfriend what I felt and we looked a good 10 minutes to see if there was a hole or anything, we couldnt find anything. She also sucked on it to see if there was an air pocket and she said there was nothing. None the less, we decided to have sex but I did not ejaculate in her. Now, 2 days later, I dont know why but my nerves got the best of me and I dont know what to do.What does a condom rip or tear look like ? And is it very noticable?Whats the chance that it was ripped before used, and straight from the package? Is she really at risk or am I just going insane ?Helpp would be greatly appreciately.

Help please

You didn't find a hole, and you didn't cum in her, i think the chance of pregnancy is next to none. I think you are worrying for nothing hon, seriously.

Well if the condom was supposed to have spermacide on it then you explained it correctly. Everything sounds normal to me. and she sucked on the spermacide huh, never seen that b4 but hey, more power to ya guys

She didn't suck the spermicide, well she did, but not for the purpose of sucking it, more so to suck it to see if there were any air pockets.
Thanks for the help, we both feel much better now.

Mikez1000Hey buddy, First off, Welcome to the board. This is a really cool place. I’ll try to answer your question. It was a good thing you guys were being responsible and using protection. These days you just have too. What you described sounds like a regular condom with spermicide coating. This is used as an added precaution on condoms to help kill any possible sperm that might have an agenda of their own. If the condom was new, like it sounds like it was, chances are slim there was NOT a hole in it. They usually can be seen as you stretch it over your erect penis. The holes usually get bigger as you roll it down and cinch it tight... Example would be to put a pin size hole in a balloon and stretch it over your finger. In most cases, it can be detected. A rip would be really visible too. The condoms usually tears from hard, deep thrusting and friction. In most cases you will kind of feel it if it tears like you would find and feel a hole in your sock. (Crude analogy but it works)Having sex when you’re younger is nerving sometimes. As long As you are sensible and responsible you shouldn’t have anything to worry about. Take a huge breath and relax dude.
