anyone else read this romance novel? 0.oI'm not usually one to read books fast but, i read 500 pages or so in the span of about 2 days.. Its rare a book sucks me in like that.. now new moon is good.. making similar progress but, its slower and more shadowy plot have me trudging threw it.. good read.. just.. more difficult if you will..anyone a fan of twilight? or the series for that matter?

Twilight anyone?
-
Oh wow, I love love love Edward, even more than I love Mr. Darcy... I know, insane... Actually, I'm kind of surprised you like it, since it's a pretty big girl book.
-
Maybe I'm gay 0.o...Most of the girls I know tell me I don't behave lke the normal guy.I hated Pride and Prejudice.. but, I love twilight which is almost excately like pride and prejudice.. with vampires 0.oI dunno I'm not "feminine" but, on the other hand I don't act like most guys in many ways 0.o. Maybe I'm a lesbian in a mans body XD.edit either way I like this book.. can't explain all the reasons why... I think a large part of it is because feel if vampires were real they would blend in with excessive and unnatural charisma.. and they do that so well in the twilight series..

My girlfriend read what stuff of the series was available and became obsessed with it. It was a problem at times with her at times constant comparison of real life to it. Luckily that only lasted about a month.I wont get into it cause I simply don't have the time. I'm sure the obsession will resume just as soon as the next release is published. There's core ideas in the story that make me near despise the main female character. But that's just me.
-
heh. I hate to say it but, I think the story does a wonderful job of taking you into it.. and well except for the vampires and werewolves.. its a very believable story. (Actually for me because I'm a hopeless romantic.. even the vampires and werewolves are believable).Erm.. I am only roughly half way done with the second book.. do any of these core ideas occur before then?
-
I think it was the third book in which she was put into a situation in which she did a few things I *highly* disagree with. It's probably not even cared about by most people but its a real peev of mine.
They're great books no doubt. My gf read a great deal of each to me each night. I just don't really like her. Nor do I like Jacob.
-
eh. I'll be the judge of that once I get into the third one.. Although I can sorta see where jacob and bella stand.Although what i predict will happen isn't nessicerly justified its understandable..
-
Urrrghh... Jacob. What a doof, he's nothing on Edward...

I hated Pride and Prejudice..
oh you suck! I LOVE that book and even moreso the movie specifically because of Keira Knightley. She's so beautiful and a great actress. And Matthew Macfadyen ooh baby! When he first said to her "I love you.... most ardently." I could have died.
I'm not into vampire books or vampire movies for that matter. Unless it's like.. Interview with a Vampire (Antonio Banderas muahaha). There was some other vampire movie I liked but I can't remember. I saw underworld but it was just a little too much for me. The werewolves had my vote.

I should suck. I can get a whole popsicle in my mouth ;p.however, I can not stand that movie.it is by girls, for girls. It is quite literally page after page of absolutely NOTHING interesting happening. I mean for the love of god they dedicated lke 12 pages to mr darcy's hand writing. Its not like it came into play later in the book and they were trying to decide if he wrote a threatening letter before killing someone.. It was quite literally filler. The book had more filling then George W. trying to wing it before congress.
