Would It be more wise to not do squats, and leg excersizes that increase tension on my growing body ? OR is it not wise at all to work out when still growing, because i think i am hitting the part in puberty where i grow the fastest....

What age did you do heavy lifting squats , and whatis your height ? Because whats stopping me from doing squats is im thinking it will significantly stunt my growth, i know a kid who started working out really young, heavy lifting, and he stopped growing at 5'4 ...

I have tried googling, and theres mixed feelings about the topic, which makes me really confused. One site says heavy weightlifting will increase your ability to grow by putting pressure on the plate.Other sites say its extrememly harmful and you should wait till your body has grown. And The Story about how my friend at school only grew up to be 5'4 after doing alot of heavy lifting, really makes me feel worse about it.
