Ok so ive been sick. i had the flu, now i have a cold. well throughout the whole thing i got these sensitive spots on my tongue. happened to my brother too. It feels as if i bit my tongue but i didnt. there is no visible sore or anything, but there are a couple of them on my tongue. its almost as if my taste bud is what hurts. its really odd, does anyone have an idea what it could be/

Canker sores, most likely.

Yep!It sounds like it is a cold sorfe on your tastebud(s)

No. A cold sore (fever blister) is a herpes sore. A canker sore is something different.

Can you have a canker sore without having a visible sore/ because like i said if you look at the tender spot it looks normal, but it still hurts. It may have to do with the fact that i had mono about 2 years ago. ever since then ive been prone to canker sores when i dont get enough rest

well that blows. canker sores are the worst, they stick around for days and hurt everytime you chew.
