I was in one of the add on room outside the school where there is one bathroom for both man and woman. When I went in to use the bathroom some lady had her period in there and there were blood along with a tampon in the toilet. What I'm worry about is that I used the toilet paper to wipe myself after I pee. If there happen to be trace amount of blood on that toilet paper and the lady happened to be HIV positive, do I have to worry?

I'm worry, tell me I'm crazy.

I don't think you have anything to worry about....It's good practice to unroll the first several sheets (Like 6-10 sheets)of the toilet paper in a public bathroom anyway....Just incase something did splash on it...

no i'm not even sure if there was blood on it but I'm just worry cause you never know. Plus all this HIV education in school is freaking me out.

Why would there be trace amounts of blood on the toilet paper roll?People obsess over HIV, but hepatitis is more contagious. In any case, there's very, very little chance that anything would be transmitted; otherwise, practically every woman who has used a public toilet would be infected.

\>\>\>.and yuck, you wiped yourself with paper that had blood on it? Why?
LOL! I was thinking the same thing, Helms, but thanks for passing down this advice! -
I have a few questions I need some sort of answer on and I highly appreciate it if you can answer it for me.1st many people who had contracted hiv get a fever. My question is can you get it(fever) on the same day you may of possibly contracted hiv on? I'm pretty sure what I had was food poisoning but...I developed this rash on my lower leg that I have no idea where it came from, it's not itchy and it's reddish and flat. How long does HIV rash usually last until it fades? My looked like it was totally disapperaing after 1 week but now it came back slightly and I have like 20 rash dots on my right calf. Also how reliable is a HIV test after 6 weeks? These question had been nagging me so if you can please answer them for me.
