alright my boy and i have been together for six years,i love him but he has the most disgusting habit i have seen him wear the same pair of pants for two months strait without washing them i just wanted to know how many guys actually do this
-
Guys wearing the same clothes over and over
-
i used to do that, i used to be a right dirty sod. i wouldnt shower for a month and wear the same clothes for 2 weeks at a time. im glad im cleaner now
-
If I'm not going anywhere, I'll just spray on some Axe and wear the same shirt or pants, but no more than two days, after that, I have to change. I'll take a shower, just put the same clothes back on, mainly if I just put them on that night, then shower, I'll wear them the next day, but after two days, I have to change
-
for pants, i wouldn't wear them for 2 months straight, but usually i change them once a week cause they don't get smelly or anything, and it's hard to believe that he wears the same pair of pants for 2 months.
-
i wear them for maybe a week at the most. Unless they get dirty of course. If its aweekend and im sitting around i may wear the same hoodie unless it gets dirty.
-
Oh man thats disgusting! I'm fanatically clean. I guess ya gunna have to just work on him, let him know its truly mank and that it'll have negative effects on your relationship.
-
Hmm that’s bit extreme, I couldn't imagine wearing the same pair of pants for 2 months straight before washing them.Personally I will wear the same pair of pants a 2-3 times before washing them as long as they are not dirty.Funny story about my boy. When we first started dating I thought he was always wearing the same pair of pants. There were times we seen each other every day for the week and still the same pair of pants. Also, every date we went on it was the same pants. Well later on I found out he had 3 identical pair of pants! That at least put my mind at ease that he actually washed his clothes LoL.
-
are you sure he just cant afford other pants? and how do you know hes not washing them? (washing cloths takes like 2 hours, 3 at most, he could just put the same ones on the next day)I have 3 pairs of identicle black pants, 2 black with white stripes, and 4 black with pink stripes. Now it would appear to the average person if i work the black ones 3 days in a row iwould be wearing the same ones, but it's really that my work cloths are bland lmao.
-
he says they are lucky and that entire time we had exams comin out the wazoonot to mention the sat's and act's
-
he also has five other pairs of almost brand new pants
which he refuses to wearbut at least i now know hes not the only one
maybe i should just hide em
-
But does he shower
-
In reply to: he also has five other pairs of almost brand new pantswhich he refuses to wear That is dmaned rediculous, sounds like one of those neandathals who feel hygiene makes him less of a man.
-
Hmm I an really picky about my clother soo i only have 3 different looking pants but i have like 20ish pants even though most people think i only have three and try telling him it bothers you and you want him to wash them and waer somthing different sometimes
-
hahhaa my parents don't know what deoderant is.....
-
How old are you and your bf?
-
how about this, you "accidentally" spill something on his pants, forcing him to change them. do this repeatedly until he gets into the groove of things. but seriously, wearing the same pair of pants several weeks in a row... that's just wrong...
-
My ex Chris was like thatWas a battle to get him to take showers and wash his clothesWe didnt last long I think its really nasty
-
I reckon it stems from the modern male insecurity over masculinity and our place in society...an insecurity I fully understand and sympthise with...however I do not believe asserting ones manlihood by having the hygiene befitting our great-grand-fathers is the way forward.
-
is he a cartoon character? they do that a lot. just kidding. here's what you do. Tell your boyfriend to start wearing clean clothes every day. Tell him you disapprove. Relationships are about changing yourself because you care about a person, and you're happy with them, and you want them to be happy with you. If his habit makes you unhappy, he should be willing to stop it. Good luck.-AK

But what if he doesn't change them? :scream_cat:
Then they're stuck with him and his now extra dirty pants.
