Hi, I'm new to the forum. I'm an 18 year old guy, and I'm uncut. Up intil a month ago, I wasn't able to retract my foreskin, but after seeing my doctor and a urologist, I guess there really wasn't anything wrong with my penis. Ever since, I've been stretching my foreskin so much that I can now fully retract it when it's not hard. Up until now, while showering I wasn't retracting the foreskin so alot of smegma (I think that's what it's called) accumulated. I've been rinsing it out with water for the past 2 weeks and soaping for the past few days and though some of the smegma has been washed away, there's still alot left--leaving an unpleasant odor. Also, my penis is EXTREMELY sensitive and so when I'm soaping I actually get weak in the knees and when I rinse I let the water run off my stomach because it's so sensitive I'm afraid to spray directly at it. Is my sensitivity level normal? And what do you recommend I do to better clean my penis as to get rid of all the smegma (it's like theres a layer of white stuff)? Thanks!

Cleaning penis

Hey bud, first - I'm glad you've been stretching and that its working! Keep up the good work. That smegma buildup is also very common. Something that may help is to use anything oil based to help loosen it some. Baby oil works really well - but an oily hand lotion might help as well. Rub it in, slide your foreskin back over it and let it soak in. Then you can gently rub it to remove it. Soaking in a tub of water might help as well. Yes, your penis is going to be super sensitive, almost painful to touch. As you expose it to more touching - it'll begin to be less sensitive and much more pleasureable. Good luck, let us know if you need anything else.

Thanks! Also, while I can retract my penis completely when its not hard, i can only retract it about half way when its hard. Is this normal, considering I've only begun to stretch it? and approx how long will it take for all the smegma to get cleaned? (do i just rinse or also use soap because I read somewhere that some doctors don't recommend soaping )

I can't tell you how long it will take to be able to fully retract when erect. It depends on how tight you are, how often you stretch, etc... Avoid soap.. it can irritate the glans and foreskin if you don't rinse well.

Anyone know how easily smegma washes off? I've been rinsing thoroughly every day and theres still a layer.

Dude,
Like Lance had said. Have you tried using an oil baded product like Baby Oil and letting it soak in ? I know it takes a while. Keep at it.
Good luck -
It's not going to just "rinse off". You need to get in there and rub it down.
