Hey! this is my first post, ive had a skin problem around the centre of my forehead now for about 5 months, its dry and itches a lot. normal moisturizers/E45 benefit it for about a day or two, but the only thing that totally relieves the urge to itch/redness is something stronger such as Hydrocauterzone (sp?) or Eumovate. Which i am always reluctant to use regularly as this thing is provking me to do. The Dr perscribed the Hydrocauterzone, but its only helped temporarily, so if anyone has any ideas on what it is/how to get rid of it it'd be awesome! cheers

Not to sound discouraging, but there may not be a permanent solution.I have problems with my face getting pretty oily by the end of the day. I have to wash my face every night to keep it under control. I don't think that anything will cure it. The best I can do is keep it under control.Several years ago, I had the opposite problem. I had extremely dry skin on parts of my face. Same thing. I had to stay on top of it.You might find, like I did, that the condition changes as the years go by.

Hydrocortisone is an effective temporary treatment for irritation, but it only attacks the symptom, not the cause. Without even a diagnosis (is it psoriasis? is it a fungal infection? an allergy?) there's not much we can suggest.

Try using AQUASILVER mist. You need to take it orally and also spray it on your skin several times a day.Works great for most skin problems. You can get it from Trueionics
