Hi, I had the dorsal slit operation a few months ago, and although it was still a bit tight, I can now fully retract the foreskin flaccid and erect (though still slightly tightness) in the bath (stretching and rolling back). But my problem now is it it so horribly sensitive to touch underneath. I understand this is from the years of it not retracting when I was younger, but I really need to know how I can I gently ease this sensitivity away without initially direct touch(i.e under shower) as at the moment it is really, really uncomfortable in some areas of the 'bell end'. I've just started seeing someone so i'd like to overcome this as soon as possiblethanks

I decided to have it done because I really didnt want to lose my foreskin, as even before my op I had an enjoyable sex life with my forskin, if a little uncomfortable, and also due to this sensitivity problem. I'm very active (football etc) I really didnt want to be recovering, overcoming this problem and getting used to it for months. It's fully healed now, and i'm not sure what all the fuss is about it looking bad, mine looks fine, just how it did before with a larger hole ring, and allows my erections to increase without getting too tight. It's just a case now of getting used to rolling the foreskin back and this awful sensitivity. To be honest I didnt know much about it before I had it done, and yeh i've seen a couple of pictures on the internet that look a bit dodgey, but personally it has worked out fine for me. Why do you ask? you considering it?plus any help with my original problem much appreciated!

sorry got a bit sidetractedto help with the original question....I would imagine it would just take time, imagine being circumsized for your whole life, your penis head continually touching the fabric of ur underwear - it just becomes used to it, desensitised i imagine. Some people must be waay more sensitive than others, im currently stretching my foreskin, can retract halfway, and the amount of head that can be exposed isnt very sensitive at all - in a painful way, it just feels normal so maybe you will have to take extra time to get used to it....With the dorsal slit, ive only seen a few dodge pics on the net, and im really interested as to wat it looks like, are you able to explain to us wat its like? I would only consider it if after like if stretching doesnt work, but for now it seems to be going ok....

yeh I wasnt really getting anywhere stretching as it was, so went to the doctors and was encouraged to do it. http://artpad.art.com/?iw7v8szkr0s this is a rough drawing of what it looks like after, it's really not that big a deal, just a larger hole at the top to make it easier to roll back and for the head to swell. Also personally, it's not at all noticable when erect, just so much easier to retract.back to the original question, any techniques, or ideas on how to gently desensitise, it's not so much painful, more a shock, like youll be walking about or playing soccer/football and suddenly you'll get an uncomfortable shock. Anyone with any experience of this or have overcome it, please help!
