Oh yeah. She's the top girl

American Idol
-
I just read that Simon Cowell has predicted that the top three will be Taylor, Chris and Kelly.
I think he's way off...except for Taylor. -
I think he's right on. Except for kelly.. it should be mandisa
-
I agree. Her voice gives me goosebumps.
-
Catherine McPhee is wicked good too. I wouldn't be surprised to see her in the top 3.
-
no, i have no idea what goes on it that show. i don't watch any of that "reality" crap. i did try to audition though like 2 seasons back with a couple of friends but we waited in line for 6 hours and by the time we were even remotely close to the front they closed down and told everyone to go home. i don't have any singing talent but i just wanted to be on tv like 99% of the other douches in line.
-
Once again, and please pay attention, American Idol is not a reality show.
-
Unscripted = Reality Show
-
So "Who's Line is it Anyway?" is now a reality show is it? Oh, and also all comedy stage acts. Those are reality shows too. Their performance isn't directly on a script, they just run by a routine and outline of what they're going to do (just like American Idol )I suppose that someone doing a comedy act on stage could actually be considered a reality show to some extent, but that term is usually reserved for shows that follow something closer to a documentary format (which is ironic because it's elaborate and doesn't show reality at face value). The thing about American Idol is that it isn't considered to be what most people would consider a reality show, because it doesn't follow the usual style. It's comparable to a football game on TV, that's reality, but do people call it a reality show? Generally not.
-
It's a game show.Like What's My Line or Who Wants to Be a Millionaire or Jeopardy or Tic Tac Dough.None of these are reality shows.
-
Lemme put it this way, anything that I have to hear about constantly on the radio, television, internet, etc everytime I turn it on I hate.
-
I hear yah. I originally hated it because people wouldn't stop talking about it and my thought was who really cares? Sure it's all right, but when you start to see it everywhere it gets annoying. I didn't find this with American Idol so much, but with Survivor... a bunch of people "stranded" with a camera crew, supplies incase anything happens, they probably get fed extra behind the scenes, and it revolves around small confrontations between people living in close quarters who begin to hate each other (and bitch about it behind each others backs). Then I hear people I know talk about how they need to tune in every time it's on to see it... ugh...
-
in my opinion american idol is defantley reality tv
-
Fine. That's your opinion. But that's not what it is.
-
and thats your opinion

***DAMIEN'S EXERCISE IN MAKING A MOUNTAIN OUT OF A MOLEHILL***So If I say that 20/20 is a news/information show and not a sitcom, is that just my opinion.Things are what they are. If you have the opinion it is somethng other than what it is then, while you have the right to your opinion, you would be wrong.NOT THAT IT MATTERS
