I am 13 and weifgh 14 stone. Yes i am fat (with belly and moobs. Which are Man Boobs.)! and i love it at times. Strut around school with my flab hanging (in the shirt of course). i especially love it in PE where everyone else in my group are also Fat. But there is one problem. Im all of a sudden too shy when im on a school trip where we stay the night to work around the room topless whilst the other boys (whom are mostly thin) do. How can i over come my fear of being topless around them.

FAT
-
why not try to loose some weight...that will help your self esteem.
-
Did you not read it. I love my fat! Its great! I just want to be topless around the room with mates.
-
well see that is a self confidence issue...You are not comfortable with yourself enough to go without a shirt around them. I mean you can loose some weight and it should help you feel better.
-
it alrite now, my m8 is round and i am topless. he is too. it great.
-
why r u topless on a field trip?
-
Everybody keeps giving you suggestions and your just contradicting them. You either have to lose the weight and gain more self-esteem or learn to more comfortable with yourself. Otherwise I don't know exactly what you want us to do.
-
nobody is happy being fat
-
some people love fat though, like those people who only go out with fat people or pay them to sit on them or something
-
I'm talking about someone who is overweight. There is no way they are happy with themselves.
-
Not true. Im living proof. Im overweight, and happy with myself.
-
On the contrary, I am overweight as well and am not one bit happy with myself. Sometimes I look in the mirror and I just cry because I feel so unhappy with what I've become. I lost a bunch of weight a looong time ago when I was in highschool and I felt great... I just recently lost 25 lbs.. I'm still not happy though. I have days where I feel great.. so happy with what i've done.. and days where i look at myself in the mirror and have tears in my eyes because i feel like such a slob. I guess it's all personal choice.. I do encourage healthy and active living though.
-
I agree, its a personal choice. If you(not you) arent happy with what you see in the mirror, change it. I just dont think that overweight=unhappy, period. Sure there are days when I fell I could look better, but skinny people feel the same way too. And by overweight, I dont mean Im the stereotypical fat, lazy person. I get out, do things, and eat healthy-most of the time-lol This is the body type I have, and I like it.
-
But there is a difference between overweight and obese.
I think it's very possible - and even good - that someone society considers overweight can be happy with their body.
However, folks who are actually obese can not, and should not, be happy with their body.Just an opinion...
-
I know there's a difference. I was responding to Amandas post that "someone who is overweight. There is no way they are happy with themselves." Maybe if she meant obese I could agree with her, but she made it clear that she thinks overweight people cant be happy with their body. Thats simply not true
-
I meant more on the side of obese. I'm not talking about 15-20lbs overweight.
-
Loose a bit of weight if possible. If you like your fat then not enough to loose it, just enough to feel a little less self concious.
