Hi.I am 24 y/o loser and am getting a lot of grey hairs now. This process began a few years ago when I was around 21 years of age.The sides of my hair above my ears are almost turning completely grey, and now I have noticed grey hairs on the top of my head as well. When I visit the Barber's, I notice my hair is almost totally grey when its falls onto my lap once cut. What is happening to me? I am only 24, and I know I shouldn't be going grey at my age. It is at least 5-10 years too early!I lead a very stressed lifestyle, with no enjoyment or relaxation at all. I know this could be a factor, but if I am looking 10 years older than I really am then I will never be able to enjoy myself.Shall I just use hair dye? But doesn't it wash out in the rain etc?

I am 35 and have acouple that show up here and there, I just pull them. My wife has a few too and she is 28, but dyes her hair. There is no way to stop it from happening, stress, food additives, and the natural body all contribute to this. You can try do dye your hair if you are worried about appearance. If you are not loosing your hair at the same time, there is no big concern. Otherwise there are medications to stop hair loss. You are not a freak or anything, people get grey hairs at all different ages. Some women find that it shows character.

Some people just go gray early. Ther is nothing you can do except dye your hair... and no it doesn't wash out in the rain. You use permanent hair dye.

Yes, I knew someone who started going grey at 18. It's just genetics.

Not to sound gay or anything, but I've seen guys in their late 20's or so with a lot of grey hair who were actually pretty good looking.

You're not alone, many guys you age can go grey, and like said already it happens earlier than that too. I dont know if youve ever seen american idol, but that one guy on there is completely grey and hes really young, and hes been grey most of his life. Its the same thing with balding, it happens to many guys at the age of 18. Its one of those things you cant prevent. Fortunately nowadays you can dye your hair, which MANY men do as it is. And for balding there are pills and such you can do to grow hair.
