Freudulian slips scare me
-
i dont use it

Um, here's a suggestion. How about not saying the word at all? It's not a must is it? That's always an option. My parents would have popped me so hard for saying any word like that let alone the n word. I can't even say "damn" but then again I'm not into foul words like that. It's ok to be different.
-
i dont say it. ever. im scared i might though.
-
If its not an active part of your vocabulary then you will be fine.
-
It's all about self-control buddy. Only YOU control what you say. Just think before you talk. Just because some of my friends going around calling each other "white trash" or "hapas" I'm not going to accidentally slip it out because of what I've heard. You should influence people instead of them influencing you.

The south actually respected slaves more then the north did if you can beleive it. North- love the race, hate the individualSouth- hate the race, love the individual.
-
after the war Robert E. Lee took communion with a former slave.
-
Wow, that slave sure loved his crackers...
-
haha!

Since I'm quite bored, I thought I'd just add this to fuel the argument. Link In reply to: Another example of General Lee's Christian character occurred in the immediate aftermath of the war. This example describes his reaction to the first black man attending the Episcopal Church in Richmond after the war. When the communion was offered, this man went to the communion rail and held out his hands to receive his bread and wine. The congregation was in an uproar, and the priest did not know what to do. General Lee quietly got up from his pew and went to the front. He knelt next to the man at the rail, and raised his hands also for communion. And all I did was type "Robert Lee communion" into Google... Altho this site seems very biased.
-
Hence the comment "Altho this sight seems very biased."
-
Oh, you crazy black women and your wild tempers!

The saddest thing I hate to hear black people say is calling each other niggers and bitches. Robert E. Lee and other confederates and segregationists must be smiling from the grave from seeing black people run around calling each other niggers.
Yeah, I don't get that. I've heard a couple of older black folks (like in their late 50's) talk about this. Basically, their take on it - which only makes sense - is that if any African-American had a historical understanding of that word and knew the hatred with which that word was weighed down, they would die before they used it in any form.
I am so tired of this whole "Black people can say it but white people can't/ You can say it with an -a but not an -er." discussion. It's a vile, comtemptible word that should be left in the history of hatred where it was born.As for the op, if you aren't someone who uses that word, and you're not a hateful person, there's no more reason to think you'll accidentally start using it then there is to think you'll accidently start calling red-headed people toasters. Just stay above it and maybe have a positive impact on the losers you think you might be hanging around with.

God damned you!!!I owe you a kick in the ass, I shot coke out my nose an all over my scren and keyboard reading that. Now I have to clean the shit up and have a sticky screen all because you had to type that shit out about nazis and jews in love.
-
Hmmm...what makes you so sure it wasn't?
-
just fiished off some gut bombs from Carls jr. fnow finishing off the large coke I got with it a six dollar burger makes one healthy turd I understand the opposition to the word nigger, nigga, and all the other variations of it, why to btches though ? shit I call alot of people bitches, like in bars and they ht on my finace and I tell them they are a bitch, its not about what color thier skin is just about insulting them and starting the fight thats about to ensue or them backing down in front of a crowd, I find it funny that most people back down. Im 5' 11" 151 lbs as of this mornings wieght in. Im covered in tattoos but I dont thin tht to look at me is real intimidating, people simply do not want to fight, 80% of people when faced with confrontation will back out when they figure out that the other person really is willing to fight rather then just talk shit. Anyways the jews and nazis nearly killed me, choking and sputtering and the brning of COKE~A~COLA in my nostrils, to good, I hope to find a conversation where I can throw tht one out as my own one day.in my own house, my kids never heard the wor nigger, spic, chink, wop, any of that shit til they got to school, didnt take long, by 3rd grade my oldest came home asking me what a nigger was, th younger one by 1st grade had heard it.Its really easy, you dont use the word and you then do not have to worry about it slipping out at an inoppertune time.I have used it, I use it whe it happens to be a back guy that Im in an argument that Iv alrady decided wil be a fist fight before we are done.It inspires pure hatred and is a strong reaction.I dont personally care for the word but whena strong reaction to goad someone is the desired affect, it works when nothing else will.same with the other racial slurs, its all a absic human instict to react with force to such an idiotic remark as one based on a stupid hatred that is founded by what color someones skin is rather then what that person is as an individual.Alot of people here in Utah have tht same shitty attitude of racism but bitch about the rest of the world talking shit about them as a mormon and never realize its the same bullshit attitude as they take with someoe wh isnt white. Actually the remarks against mormons is more valid as it a hatred based on a belief rather then the amount of a chemical that the body has that affects skin pigment.

You started that paragraph off badly, but finished it spot on. You cnat compare racism to anti-religeous slander in my opinion. Religeon is a belief, a philosophy, an idea. If you cant question an idea what can you question?
-
you know, i like to remember that we all turn the same color when we die. Well, not right away, but once we've decomposed we all go kind of grey.
Sorry if that seems like spam, im just trying to add a statement to the argument  -
I agree...to a point. What I believe is a choice I make, as opposed to my skin color which I didn't choose. However, that is not a reason to denigrate and speak hatefully to and about people because of their religious or spiritual beliefs. Period.
